Unleash Your Potential: Put Any Foot Forward presents a clarion
call for us to awaken the gifts within us. Everyone has a gift, and
the truth is that if we don't use them, they will be taken away,
and we lose the joy of fulfilling God's purpose in our lives. We
must learn how to unleash our potential, to put any foot forward
through motivation and encouragement. We have been crippled for so
long by our circumstances, our fears, our past failures, and
mistakes, but now, author Dr. Darlington I. I. Ndubuike encourages
us to heed the command of the Lord to move ahead When God provides
us with opportunities, we have to take that first STEP: Seize the
opportunity. Take action by faith. Encourage ourselves in the Lord.
Prayerfully follow God's lead. We cannot be intimidated by our
circumstances. We must hold our heads up and keep our shoulders
high. We must position ourselves to unleash our potential without
losing focus, with the understanding that nothing good comes easy.
It takes time and effort, but your dream is attainable."
Difficult situations occur every day, all over the world. They can
occur in our homes, on our jobs, and even in our churches. As
Christians, we must face these challenges and understand their
roots in the spiritual world. We must also answer the call to
witness Christ in everyone, especially those who cause us
difficulty and distress. In "More than Conquerors II: They That Are
with Us: A Believer's Guide to Overcoming Opposition and Ethical
Dilemmas, " minister and author Thomas Randolph Wood Jr. shows
through real-world examples how true victory over situations,
circumstances, and difficult persons is available through Jesus
Christ. The helpful, encouraging lessons of "They That Are with Us"
offer answers to the hard and sometimes overwhelming challenges we
encounter in our lives today. Perhaps we struggle with money, with
relationships, with the future, or with faith; by sharing our
stories and sharing the word of God, we can learn to honestly
support each other in our walks both inside and outside the
physical structures of our church buildings. Through this testimony
and witness, we experience the true will of God for our
congregations, for ourselves, and for our world.
"We look to memoirs for guidance, instruction from the lives of
others, cautionary tales perhaps and, if we're lucky, inspiration.
If we also get a clear view of abundant humanity, we count it as a
bonus. Gifts of Sight is that kind of rare memoir. With skill,
irony toward himself, and a clear and moral love of his fellow-man,
Bruce Shields has written a book that is in part the account of an
'eye doctor, ' in part a meditation on the courage of his patients,
and in great part a metaphor for Life itself. Gifts of Sight,
meditative and Chekhovian, is already a classic as it leaves the
author's pen; it should become perceived as one of the great
'quiet' American tales, in which a concerned and thoughtful doctor
addresses the word vision in all its meanings." --Frank Delaney New
York Times bestselling author of Ireland
God has been revealing to me that writing is an effective way for
me to share my heart with Him; I feel encouraged to use it as a way
to share his love and my faith in him with you. I have spent the
majority of my life searching desperately for the missing piece to
complete my life puzzle. The discovery of my life has been
made....Jesus. From the bottom of my heart to the top of the
highest mountain, I would like to proclaim to everyone who is
alive, ?God loves you God wants to be close to you You are created
for HIM He his waiting with open arms and unending love for you God
forgives you We can approach God with confidence in our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. The idea of this book grew from a seed planted
in my heart on November 9, 2012. While reading II Kings, God
revealed to me an important role in my Christian life. God tells of
King Hezekiah, who was aware of God's presence in past events, had
a personal relationship with God via a powerful prayer life, and
trusted in God's help for current events in his life. One thing he
lacked was his concern for future generations. God convicted my
heart that I was lacking this as well. Not sure what to do, I
prayed that God would show me. A book. Since I will not be around
forever to share my faith with future generations, I can share my
faith through a book. This is the first and possibly the only book
I will write; I will leave that up to God. This is a collection of
prayers and writings regarding some truths God has revealed to me.
An invitation to you...to draw near, speak to God about what is on
your heart, then be still, and know that He is God. This is the
sacrifice God wants from us. He wants us to share our heart with
him and trust him and his word to guide our lives. Talk to God
about anything you would a family member, best friend, co-worker,
etc. God wants us to come to Him first.

This title offers an insight into key contemporary global issues
relating to the lives and experiences of young Muslims. Many Muslim
societies, regardless of location, are displaying a 'youth bulge',
where more than half their populations are under the age of 25. An
increasingly globalized western culture is rapidly eroding
'traditional' ideas about society, from the family to the state. At
the same time, there is a view that rampant materialism is creating
a culture of spiritual emptiness in which demoralization and
pessimism easily find root. For young Muslims these challenges may
be compounded by a growing sense of alienation as they face
competing ideologies and divergent lifestyles. Muslim youth are
often idealized as the 'future of Islam' or stigmatized as
rebelling against their parental values and suffering 'identity
crises'. These experiences can produce both positive and negative
reactions, from intellectual engagement and increasing spiritual
maturity to emotional rejectionism, narrow identity politics and
violent extremism. This book addresses many of the central issues
currently facing young Muslims in both localized and globalized
contexts through engaging with the work of academics, youth work
practitioners and those working in non-governmental organizations
and civic institutions.
The first comprehensive study in English of the Japanese hell
figure Datsueba explores her evolution since her eleventh-century
emergence as a terrifying old woman who strips the clothes of the
dead in the afterworld. Drawing widely on literature, art, and
worship practices, the author reveals how the creative utilization
of Datsueba's key attributes-including a marker of borders, a
keeper of cloth, and an elderly woman-transformed her into a
guardian of the human journey through life and death and shaped a
figure that is diverse and multifaceted, yet also strikingly
recognizable across the centuries.
Poems, prn (Latin: pro re nata) is a compilation of recent poems by
Larry Troxel. He separated them into two groupings; the first
consisting of poems that are more about the lighter and serious
sides of life, and the sweet feelings and inspiration that evolve
there from. From those selections his associate James Atkinson, an
accomplished musician and composer, has created and recorded
beautiful songs on a CD Music and Poetry From the Heart, with poems
such as My Soul, The Flowers Say, Touchings, and Waves. The second
group is poems that paint, in the brightest colors, his
religiosity, principals of faith, devotion and church. It is his
hope that some may find what he has written to be interesting,
agreeable, and maybe even inspiring, prn.
This book is an invaluable resource for those called upon to say
Grace before or after a meal on formal occasions. Each one has been

your own use. These Graces have been used at the House of Lords,
The House of Commons, various London Livery Companies and many
other prestigious venues.
If you are one of the many Americans fascinated by the American
Civil War, but feel that there is nothing new under the sun
concerning that epic time, think again. In these pages you will
find a wealth of stories of incredible courage, extraordinary
perseverance, and heartwarming affection and humor. These stories
of the personalities and events from the Civil War are carefully
chosen to appeal to both the well-acquainted as well as the
novice.
The book includes spiritual lessons for us today, using
practical applications and insights from the Holy Scriptures, based
on intriguing stories of those who lived through our nation's
greatest trial.
My hope is that these stories, written in a highly readable,
short-chapter devotional style, will not only provide Civil War
lovers with hours of reading enjoyment but wisdom and hope in the
midst of our own trials each of us face in these difficult
times.

written to encourage every believer to walk in this reality.
The Father's Heart consists of personal stories from author
Caleb Plumb's life. He details triumphs and mistakes of attempting
to live on fire for God. He pulls back the curtain to his prayer
life, dreams, visions, and supernatural encounters with a desire to
inspire others to pursue the presence of God.
He writes in the spirit of Jeremiah 29:13: "You will seek me and
find me when you seek me with all of your heart."
Stephanie Gurley shares her story of living a self-absorbed life
while trying to acquire her dreams. To acquire those dreams would
require running a race daily as a wife and mother. Nearly at hand,
her dream became her survival, as she was diagnosed with a brain
tumor. God offered her the ultimate race to run in, a race that was
intended for all to participate in. It was a race that took her far
to overcome insecurity, wounds, and fears, as God transformed her
prideful, hardened heart into moldable clay. It was a heart that
began to desire the Word of the Lord and every morsel it had to
offer. It was a heart that ultimately became refreshed in His
spirit, leading her to the calling of writing this book. She obeyed
the Lord. She was not to let her testimony sit on a shelf at home.
She says, "Obedience is what matters." Come with Stephanie to see
some of the things God has shown her. You can begin your journey
crossing one stepping stone at a time, whether it is in your
spiritual walk, personal walk, or a ministry. It is her prayer that
you will be led to become refreshed in His spirit Grab hold of the
seeds along the way, and begin to bloom.
