Wake Up Preparing for the End-Times Outpouring is a trumpet
calling the body of Christ to wake up to the fact that we are
living in the "post defeat of the saints era" (see Dan. 7:21).
Wake Up gives the historical evidence of the defeat of the
saints; in contrast it looks at the characters of Daniel and his
friends and the first disciples and shows how they acted and
responded to the stimulus from their culture, so they could be
effective witnesses for Jesus Christ.
Wake Up encourages believers to become overcomers at the end of
the end-times and to learn to counteract against the defeat of the
saints. Believers are called to be continually filled by the Holy
Spirit, to learn to release the gifts of the Spirit to destroy the
works of the Devil, and to bring in the harvest and glorify the
Lord.
You will learn: The defeat of the saints prophesied in Daniel
7:21 is shown with numerous historical evidences how the defeat of
the saints has occurred over the past three centuries. The saints
are now living in the "post-defeat of the saints era," but they are
not to remain defeated. They need to be continually filled by the
Holy Spirit and then demonstrate who Jesus is to the whole world.
The little horn is still trying to defeat the saints through the
Illuminati, whose goal it is to completely wipe out Christianity
with their eugenic plans wanting to kill 90 percent of the world.
The Ancient of Days has been pouring out His Spirit to help the
saints to defeat the works of the Devil. Believers are to receive
the Holy Spirit continually and then learn to demonstrate the gifts
of the Spirit so we can bring glory to the Lord.
When a woman from Samaria comes to draw water at Jacob's well,
Jesus, known prophetically as Shiloh, Prince of Peace, offers her
an incredible gift-living water. All she has to do is ask, which,
by the way, still applies today. Jesus explains that everyone who
drinks from His well, even those of questionable character like
her, will never be thirsty again, and the water will become a
spring welling up to eternal life (NIV). In Shiloh's Well you can
read all about an overflowing, abundant life that is available to
all those who drink of this miraculous living water. "My prayer is
that these pages will proclaim a clear, unequivocal message of
eternal hope and spiritual truth pointing to the God who has
sustained and blessed me my entire life. May Shiloh's Well make you
smile, touch your heart, lead you humbly to the feet of Christ,
enlighten your spiritual understanding, and challenge your
commitment to Christian service "
From one of America's most brilliant writers, a New York Times
bestselling journey through psychology, philosophy, and lots of
meditation to show how Buddhism holds the key to moral clarity and
enduring happiness. At the heart of Buddhism is a simple claim: The
reason we suffer-and the reason we make other people suffer-is that
we don't see the world clearly. At the heart of Buddhist meditative
practice is a radical promise: We can learn to see the world,
including ourselves, more clearly and so gain a deep and morally
valid happiness. In this "sublime" (The New Yorker), pathbreaking
book, Robert Wright shows how taking this promise seriously can
change your life-how it can loosen the grip of anxiety, regret, and
hatred, and how it can deepen your appreciation of beauty and of
other people. He also shows why this transformation works, drawing
on the latest in neuroscience and psychology, and armed with an
acute understanding of human evolution. This book is the
culmination of a personal journey that began with Wright's landmark
book on evolutionary psychology, The Moral Animal, and deepened as
he immersed himself in meditative practice and conversed with some
of the world's most skilled meditators. The result is a story that
is "provocative, informative and...deeply rewarding" (The New York
Times Book Review), and as entertaining as it is illuminating.
Written with the wit, clarity, and grace for which Wright is
famous, Why Buddhism Is True lays the foundation for a spiritual
life in a secular age and shows how, in a time of technological
distraction and social division, we can save ourselves from
ourselves, both as individuals and as a species.
We have a King. He is the personal, infinite God, who has
created us and redeemed us through His Son, Jesus Christ. He has
revealed truth to us. On the basis of what He has said, we are to
live our lives as Kingdom people who are present, spiritual members
of the Kingdom of God. Our Great King has given us commandments,
statutes, testimonies, precepts, and promises. At the same time, He
has given us His Spirit to live within us and empower us to live
lives to please Him. His love for us and His power in us is beyond
anything we could ever imagine or think.
What are the things we are to do on a daily basis, to cause us
to proceed through this life? The King has given His people a
picture of a journey, a pilgrimage. We are to press forward in this
life toward our high calling in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). We
do this by walking, running, fighting, trusting, and praying. What
does each one of these action words look like in practice? This is
what we want to examine in this book.
We are going to take the position that someone else has paid a
great price to reclaim us and to bring us back from our enslavement
to sin and to set us free. Indeed, Jesus did pay it all, and all to
Him we owe. Our King is our Savior and Lord, and our lives are to
be spent to return His great and sacrificial love and to always
live for His glory and honor.
As children, most of us freely express the joy-the music-within us.
Our emotions are close to the surface, and we can bring them forth
at the drop of a hat. But as we become adults, the joy seems to get
buried deeper and deeper. Real life can take the music from our
very being. But does it have to be that way? Is there anything we
can do about it? In The Musical Soul Train: Discover the Songs from
Your Heart, author Philip "PM" Moey shares his knowledge and
experiences of life's spiritual pathways. Moey's fifteen years of
research has taught him that though there are many universal
principles about life, many are fundamentally the same but
approached from different angles. The paths eventually lead to a
single life worth living if you choose to do it well. And to live
well, you cannot allow the music to die within you. Moey includes
his personal musical flavor, but that does not mean it has to be
ours; he reminds us that each of us has a song to be sung and
showcased. The Musical Soul Train will thrill anyone who longs to
tell his or her own story and anyone who is looking for a more
meaningful, inspired life.
Why not me? Is the biblical study to challenge and encourage women
to embrace the calling, gifts and anointing that is upon their
life. As it is written," before I formed you in the womb I knew and
approved of you as my chosen instrument..". Jeremiah 1:5 (amp) For
we are God's own handiwork recreated in Christ Jesus that we may do
those good works which God predestined for us....Ephesians
2:10(amp) In times past and present there has been the question of
women in ministry. What about the message and the available leader
being identified and trained to carry out the mission that has been
set. The spirit of the Lord has been poured out upon all flesh. It
is time to take the path which has been prepared.
Grieving, Brooding, and Transforming: The Spirit, The Bible, and
Gender is a collection of scholarly essays by Pentecostal women. It
explores troubling biblical texts, as well as those of contemporary
church life, in regards to the portrayal of women. The authors seek
to identify the presence and work of the Spirit that is often
hidden within the contours of these texts. A Pentecostal feminist
hermeneutic desires to move beyond suspicion into the deeper
terrain of the Spirit's mission of grieving, brooding, and
transforming a broken world. The essays point to the purposes of
God toward justice and the healing of creation.
There are times and places where heaven and earth collide, where
the line between eternity and time grows dim, and the reality of
God becomes real. There are experiences and circumstances that
force our beliefs to cross over from a mundane theory and into a
living reality.
This is my story. It is our story. It is His story. It is not
perfect, but it is real. It is a story of my experiences with God,
calling to ministry, journey of planting a church, and surviving
disaster and devastation.
This book is for anyone who ever desperately wondered if God
exists or if He cares. It is for honest people who have questioned
Christians, been disappointed with church as usual, or simply
wondered if there was more. I hope my story will inspire and
challenge you to discover the wonderful treasure of authentic faith
or galvanize the faith you already have.
