To anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear, it is obvious that
life as we know it is reaching critical mass-environmentally,
socially, politically, and spiritually. For thousands of years
there have been prophecies of a planetary "shift" of great
magnitude, moving us into a higher and brighter new world. This is
the autobiography of one of the world's most significant spiritual
leaders, with visions of the future of our planet's destiny-of the
evolution of benevolent celestial and human leadership into a truly
Divine Administration. The Divine New Order And The Dawn Of The
First Stage Of Light And Life is the story of Gabriel of Urantia
and the EcoVillage and spiritual community he co-founded in 1989
with Niann Emerson Chase and the beginnings of the worldwide
Spiritualution SM movement they created together over the last 24
years. Originally written in 1989, this 2013 Third Edition
chronicles the flowering and fruition of Global Community
Communications Alliance (also known as Divine Administration),
including the relocation and growth of the First Planetary Sacred
Home-a theological world center, cultural crossroads, and planetary
spiritual headquarters. Many of the prophecies that were written in
the Bible and other sacred texts have come to pass or are happening
now. Some of this book is prophecy-with scenarios that have already
come true and some with outcomes yet to be revealed. That outcome
is partially in your hands. Discover the Creator's plan to
establish a Divine New Order for our world and how you can help to
bring about the dawn of the first stage of light and life-to
overcome the existing death and darkness of our world in peril by
bringing genuine hope, real love, and true justice to every corner
of the planet. Spiritual leader Gabriel of Urantia is an Audio
Fusion Material Complement (for further explanation see The Cosmic
Family volumes), father of four children, activist, teacher,
musician, and author. He lives in Tumacacori, Arizona at Avalon
Organic Gardens & EcoVillage. Together, spiritual leaders and
teachers Gabriel of Urantia and Niann Emerson Chase-who co-share
the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star (see The Cosmic Family,
Volume I)-have established more than two dozen outreach and
educational ministries, touching all facets of life, health, and
reality. This book chronicles the unfolding of that incredible
story and the life of this very unique soul, Gabriel of Urantia.
The Divine New Order And The Dawn Of The First Stage Of Light And
Life has the most extensive Glossary of the highest spiritual terms
and concepts on the planet today and is the only one of such
quality. The new Third Edition of The Divine New Order And The Dawn
Of The First Stage Of Light And Life also includes a wonderful
color photo gallery depicting more than 40 historical and
contemporary aspects of the life of Gabriel of Urantia and Avalon
Organic Gardens & EcoVillage-comprised of 100] international
men, women, and children.
Each WORD from God is like an acorn fallen from the oak tree. An
acorn doesn't look like much, little and hard crusted However,
within this acorn lies all the DNA to become a mighty tree. In this
creative endeavor, I have compiled 40 words which I feel have the
power to challenge, affirm, and strengthen every seeker who is
willing to travel this journey. These words are not to be read from
beginning to end like any other book. Rather prayerfully ask God
for which WORD you NEED. And when guided to that word, let it soak
into your heart. Let it breathe within you. Live with it for
awhile. I spent a whole season of Lent with the word GLORY, or a
summer with the word TRUST. This resource has helped me to "crawl
into the acorn" and really dwell with the word. Inside, I found a
sacred place where my spirit would find quiet rest and adventure.
When all else around me was confused and agitated ... here I would
find peace ... and like the acorn ... I grew May these words bring
you ever closer to the ONE who created you and desires for you more
than you could ever imagine In reading the introduction to this
wonderful book, I was visibly moved by the words I was reading.
There is a power and a peace in opening a page of Patti's book and
letting it take the reader into a quiet place. "Come with me by
yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." (Mk.6:31) This is a
book that is like a well of spiritual refreshment ready for you to
dive into its soothing depths at any reading. Tom Peterson

Every serious student of the Bible desires to understand the text,
discover the biblical principles, and apply the truths to his/her
life. This commentary is designed to help students, pastors, and
Bible teachers understand the Gospel of Mark in a simple manner.
Working from the popular New International Version (NIV), the
author provides helpful commentary on the text verse by verse. This
verse-by-verse commentary is different from others in two respects.
First, it is brief while some commentaries are unnecessarily wordy
and verbose. Second, it is Pentecostal in outlook. This implies
that we generally adhere to the doctrine of biblical inerrancy and
adopt a literalist approach to the interpretation of the Bible. The
major aim of this commentary is to expose readers to the Gospel of
Mark. It is written primarily for the busy pastor, Sunday school
teacher, or Christian leader who desires to learn better the Gospel
of Mark. The Gospel of Mark is the shortest and simplest of the
four Gospels. It gives an action-packed, authentic record of the
ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. The inspired story of Mark
portrays Jesus Christ as the complete and final revelation of God
to His creation.
This book is based on scriptures from Nehemiah, a Jewish servant of
a Persian king and an effective leader who organized and guided the
rebuilding of the city walls around Jerusalem. While on this
special assignment, he faced great opposition. In spite of
harassment, he along with others persevered and finished the work.
When faced with opposition, allow it to bring us to a place of
unity as well as strength.
This book is about grief in its rawest form. As you read you will
visit each emotion and entertain the feelings that go with them. The
book does not just describe grief, but takes you to that place
also; it is not your pain but one you can relate to and hopefully,
find hope.
My intention in writing this book is to share the intimacies of my
heart, leading up to a personal, powerful, and life-changing
experience of God's unconditional love. First for the clergy and
teachers of faith, this book is given to you for the benefit of
those who are in your care and second yet foremost, for those who
have been surpressing pain within their own and often times
repressed experience. My hope is that in sharing my struggle to let
God be God, and do what God does best, namely to love those who
will come to Him with all of their brokenness and need, that you
too may come closer to peace in your own life. Can you find
identity in one of these groups? * Those who have been hurt by fear
and insecurity based upon a harshly taught understanding of God's
law without real knowledge of His love;* Those having sadly
experienced divorce and the guilt coming from that failure with its
painful confusion, what really happened;* Catholic women practicing
what is termed by the Catholic Church as as artificial birth
control and its affect on their peace of mind;* Those troubled by
the Catholic Church's requirement of integral sacramental
confession as the only ordinary means of receiving forgivness for
sin;* Protestants and Evangelicals counting on Baptism alone, apart
from any growth in personal righteousness, as affecting their
eternal reality.Did you find yourself listed above? Today there are
many who are under spiritual oppression and needlessly suffering
separation from real knowledge of God's unconditional love for
them. The question everyone needs to answer is this, can I receive
God's mercy and love and can I return that love to Him? This
capacity is evidence of and at the very heart of salvation
Have This Mind uses a rational, logical, and systematic approach
to spirituality, religion, and God by focusing on the mind or
consciousness rather than doctrine, ritual, etc. It provides a
model that resolves the many seemingly conflicting views of
religion and God.
The four largest religions of the world, Hinduism, Buddhism,
Christianity, and Islam, are introduced in terms of their
transformative dimensions that lead to an inclusive and eminently
happy life. These principles and practices are illustrated with
biographies of exemplary saints and sages from the traditions.
Have This Mind outlines three different ways of being
religious--regardless of one's particular religious
tradition--based on a progressively maturing mind. Of particular
import to Christian readers are interpretations of biblical and
theological views that facilitate transition from a traditional and
mythic outlook tending toward exclusivism to one that is rational,
transrational, and inclusive.
On the basis of an appreciative and inclusive view of the
world's great religions, one discovers how these religions can
actually enhance one's own spirituality and religious outlook. A
perspective central to Have This Mind is that authentic religion
and spirituality lie in the loving quality of one's life and not
simply the ideas or beliefs held in one's mind
Did man evolve accidentally, or is his existence the result of a
creative act?
Is there life after death? Am I given a purpose?
Where do we look for answers to such questions, assuming we
care?
In Christianity alone, statisticians tell us there are over
thirty thousand denominations. Which of these offers authentic
truth? It is no small inquiry. I venture to say there is no man,
woman, or child who will not contemplate the questions of how they
came to exist, the purpose behind it, whether they will continue to
exist and in what way. Furthermore, the central question of the
existence of a higher power and its consequences for us has vexed
and divided mankind since he first aspired to ask it.
In the seventeenth century, when Galileo described the earth as
rotating the sun, science began to assert itself as the arbiter of
the yet unknown. With the Age of Reason, the authority of the
scientific method of inquiry began its rise to occupying the place
of rational authority. Religion experienced a relatively humbling
categorization as quaint mystery. Most unsolved material questions
that were matters of competing views have fallen to the credit of
the scientist. We now know why volcanoes erupt, in other words.
But the scientist has overextended himself. He rose from the
high seat to mount the high horse; explaining all things by
reducing them to their smallest elements. His accounting for
cosmogenesis, arrival of life, evolution, and the nonexistence of
God is an accounting he cannot make without assumptions. So he
assumes for us all.
This creates a troublesome dilemma for modern man. Is he
required to reject his faith, or in practicing faith in God, is he
required to reject the rationality of science?
In "The Next Awakening," a solution is offered to the wrangling
debate of the atheistic scientist with the fundamentalist
Christian.
Ten years ago, I was diagnosed as having chronic depression. I was
living and walking in darkness and it had consumed my entire being.
I was in a relationship that was going no where, being used and
emotionally damaged. I had one foot in the world, one foot in the
church and no relationship with God. I was at the end of my rope
and could not take life any longer. One night, I decided I was
going to take my life. I was hurting and the pain was too much to
bear. I sat on the floor, crying, thinking about how to end it all.
I clearly heard Satan giving me ways to do it, until I opened my
mouth and called on the name of the Lord, who interrupted Satan's
plan to kill me that night. I asked the Lord to take the hurt and
pain away. And He did it, immediately I remember getting up without
the weight that had consumed me and I decided from that day forward
that I would serve the Lord. My Damascus culminates this life
changing experience and journey of letting go of the world and
hanging on to God. "At one time you surrendered yourselves entirely
as slaves to impurity and wickedness for wicked purposes. In the
same way you must now surrender yourselves entirely as slaves of
righteousness for holy purposes." - Romans 6:19 To receive the Lord
Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior, simply pray: Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am sinful and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that
You died to pay the penalty for my sin. I want to turn from my sin
nature and follow You instead. I invite You to come into my heart
and life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
This book has been a work in progress since 1971 in which the
author reveals his then, way out ideas and imaginations about the
origin of the universe, religion, gender bias in language, future
economic and social systems, future space travel and the
rectification of PI in a peanutshell. Many of his ideas have now
been proven, like the black hole theory and many other ideas are
now being considered by the established authorities in their
respective fields. And there are many other ramblings and
reflections of an active mind that are still crazy but provocative
and entertaining.
