Here is John Wycliffe's greatest accomplishment: the translation of
the Holy Scriptures into English. Producing the first complete
English bible, Wycliffe was the first to set aside Latin as the
language of the Scriptures and to reach the English people in their
own tongue. Working from contemporary manuscripts of the Latin
Vulgate, he sought "no strange English" but only the easiest, most
common-albeit the most Latin-like-language possible. (Latin
constructions and word order were preserved even where they
conflicted with English idiom.) His work was used by the Lollards,
a group of itinerant preachers ("poor priests") who went about
preaching, reading, and teaching from the English Bible. Wycliffite
translations of the New Testament (1380) and Old Testament (1388),
which was actually completed by Nicholas of Hereford, opened a new
epoch in the history of the Bible. In this new edition, LAMP POST
has taken a 600 year old ancient translation and made a modern,
clean, readable version--a simple yet fun dichotomy--creating a
project that all book- and bible-lovers are sure to appreciate and
enjoy
The Christian God is deeply and passionately concerned with justice
- it's his very nature and it's evident throughout the Bible. God
created a good world; a flourishing garden, in which there was no
evil and humans and all living creatures could thrive and prosper.
But evil did enter, humankind faltered, and there began God's great
fight - to win back our hearts and inspire us to join with him in
administering justice and bringing the fullness of life to
creation. The NIV God's Justice Bible explores this key character
trait of God and important area of Christian life. Alongside the
NIV Bible text, a global cast of scholars and justice fighters
contribute study notes, book introductions, questions for
reflection and prayers to inform, challenge and inspire. NIV God's
Justice Bible is designed to fire readers' passion for social
justice and take positive steps to bring justice issues to light in
their own circles of influence - all for the glory of God. The
writers come from every continent, representing organisations such
as International Justice Mission, Compassion and World Vision.
Well-known UK and US contributors include Krish Kandiah, Ron Sider
and Joel Edwards.

The Complete Messianic Aleph Tav Scriptures (C-MATS) is a study bible which focuses on the study of the Aleph/Tav Character Symbol used throughout the old testament (Tanakh) by both Moses and the Prophets and is the most exhaustive and unique rendition of its kind in the world.
Over 5 years in the making, this English rendition reveals every place the Hebrew Aleph Tav symbol was used as a "free standing" character symbol believed to express the "strength of the covenant" in its original meaning. The Aleph/Tav was also believed to be the "mark" of the "divine hand" for thousands of years by such famous rabbis as Nahum of Gimzo, Akiva, and R. S. Hirsch as well as the Apostle John who claimed in the book of Revelation that the symbol also incorporated Y'shua haMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) because of His divinity.
Also revealed in C-MATS is the use of the Aleph/Tav as it is incorporated into the creation of hundreds of Hebrew words used thousands of times, thus taking our understanding of the scriptures to a whole new level.
