With the NLT Every Woman's Bible you'll find that God desires to speak to you, not because of any group that you identify with, but because he loves you. This Bible has included stories of women that have been touched with the power of that message and reminds you that God is pursuing you just the same as He has pursued the most influential and broken women that have ever lived. God is not resting from reaching out to everyone in the world, this Bible demonstrates that He is present and moving; As Romans 2:11 reminds us: "For God does not show favoritism", His presence is meant for you.

In 1924, Professor Sperber graduated from Bonn University with a
dissertation on "Das Propheten-Targum in seinem Verhaltnis zum
masoretischen Text". He was then invited to prepare a critical
edition of the Targum. Thus Professor Sperber began an immense
task. The Bible in Aramaic is the fruit of more than forty years of
study, during which he made innumerable trips to various countries
in order to visit libraries and examine manuscripts. The first part
of the Bible in Aramaic appeared in 1959. Needless to say that this
work is indispensable for students of the Old Testament. Let the
reviews that have accumulated over the years speak for themselves.

"Religious Transactions in Colonial South India" locates the
"making" of Protestant identities in South India within several
contesting discourses. It examines evolving attitudes to
translation and translation practices in the Tamil literary and
sacred landscapes initiated by early missionary translations of the
Bible in Tamil. Situating the Tamil Bible firmly within
intersecting religious, literary, and social contexts, Hephzibah
Israel offers a fresh perspective on the translated Bible as an
object of cultural transfer. She focuses on conflicts in three key
areas of translation--locating a sacred lexicon, the politics of
language registers and "standard versions," and competing generic
categories--as discursive sites within which Protestant identities
have been articulated by Tamils. By widening the cultural and
historical framework of the Tamil Bible, this book is the first to
analyze the links connecting language use, translation practices,
and caste affiliations in the articulation of Protestant identities
in India.

Young's Literal Translation of the Bible is a strictly literal
translation of the original Hebrew and Greek texts. It was written

about finding out what the original authors of the Bible actually
wrote. It includes the preface to the 1st, Revised and 3rd
Editions.
Things You Need to Know - is a book that covers multiple subjects
that Christians should have knowledge of, it is a book that will
help those who struggle in there walk with Christ, it also provides
some directions with written scriptures found in it of how we can
continue our faith in Christ after or when we fall. The parable of
the prodigal son is one of the greatest examples of a person who
begin to perish because he felled to recognize who he really was.
He knew that where he was, once he left his father's house was not
the place of prosperity and blessing. He had left the house of
plenty and abundance just to eat with the pigs. So many people have
left the presence of God and are now eating with the pigs. The goal
of this book is to help them come back and bring someone with them
to also enjoy what God the Father has to give. Roy Freeman was born
in Miami Florida. While he was young his mother taught him about
Jesus Christ and Salvation, after finishing high school he attended
University of Miami and took courses at Miami Dade Community
college he continued his education once he joined the military. He
was the senior pastor of Solid Rock Family Christian Center in
Copperas Cove, Texas since 1992 when the church was founded. Prior
to that he pastured several churches as he traveled throughout the
United States of America and Europe. He is a believer in the Bible
and the authority of Scripture.
This work explores the theological and social dimensions of
generosity in the book of Sirach and contextualizes them within the
culture and thought of Second Temple Judaism. Ben Sira's
understanding of generosity is predicated on the tension between
affirming the classic wisdom principle of retributive justice and
recognizing its breakdown in the socio-economic circumstances of
Seleucid Judea. He forges a new Wisdom-Torah ethic of mercy in
which giving generously is an integral part of living "the good
life". While loans and surety are essential practices, almsgiving
is the preeminent act of generosity. The fundamental theological
logic at work consists in viewing the poor as proxies for God and
is based on the economic structure of Proverbs 19:17. Giving to the
poor is, in reality, a deposit in a heavenly treasury and will pay
future dividends. By situating Ben Sira's view of almsgiving within
the wider framework of retributive justice and its breakdown, new
light is shed on the practical tensions regarding the extent of
almsgiving and its relationship to the support of the Jerusalem
priesthood. The various dynamics of Ben Sira's thought on
generosity are situated within the broader Hellenistic world and in
their foundational role for later Jewish and Christian thought.
