The author's search for healing takes her on an excursion to exotic
places-a tropical island, the frozen North, a Turkish harem. The
mystery of such scenes and some puzzling dreams lead her to a
spiritually attuned psychologist who practices past-life
regression. A lovely dolphin spirit guide accompanies her on her
journey, while words of wisdom from an inspirational inner voice
help guide her way. This true story reads like a diary, flows like
fiction. "A brilliant look into the intuitive mind of a woman
longing for connection, understanding and ultimately, love. Raw,
honest and from the heart." - Susan Mushkin, educator, writer,
editor "Dancing with the Dolphin is a delightful read. Very few
writers have the ability to make an inner journey as compelling as
an action-adventure story, but Kathy Schmidt accomplished that in
this fast-paced, fun read through an incredible story that is both
earthy and transcendental. Highly recommended " - Elizabeth
Anderson, English teacher
Candan struggled with alcoholism until two ladies from
Alcoholics Anonymous discovered her and helped her back to
sobriety. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Candan went on to carry
the message of recovery to her own country, where alcoholism was a
taboo subject and women especially were shamed into secrecy of
their disease. This is the story of how she established and spread
the word of Alcoholics Anonymous to those in need in her native
country.
The book in your hand is a mandate that will unveil the essence
of living in the Christ purpose for your life and make you channel
your God-given potential in the right direction in life. And to a
be blessing to mankind and an useful vessel of honor to God.
In this book are some true-life encounters which I used as an
illustration portraying the thought and promises of God toward
us.
Imagine beginning your life no longer than a table knife in a
hospital that lacks even an incubator. Your premature body decides
it has had enough, and your heart stops beating. Then a nurse
breaths life back into you. Through the birthing process, a brain
injury causes cerebral palsy, and normal body movements do not
develop. Life is hard, and help is difficult to find. That is how
Gail Johnson's life began in 1932. Her life is littered with
miracles that came from decisions made by strong, passionate
people. Through a combination of those decisions, surgeries,
training, and perseverance, Gail has lived a full life. No Time to
Quit takes you on a journey through many of the major challenges
and events of her life. It shows that there truly is no time to
quit.
"THE TIME IS NOW " After beginning this book thirty years ago, I
realize now is the time people are ready for transformation and
will accept learning about the miraculous life of my master
teacher, Dr. DJ Bussell. What he did and the miracles he performed
that seemed impossible are explained and taught in this book. At
the age of twenty-seven, I found Dr. Bussell, a teacher I had been
searching for since I was a child. He answered all my questions and
daily exemplified the philosophy of Chirothesia and the Universal
Laws in action. I saw a woman healed of blindness, a man cured of
epilepsy, a man who robbed a bank surrender himself, a man with a
severed spinal cord walk, and I learned the secret teachings of the
Essenes, authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls that were found in 1947.
The Law of Cause and Effect is in operation constantly, and the six
Universal Laws that will transform your life are: the Law of
Breath, the Law of Harmony, the Law of Abundance, the Law of
Health, the Law of Right Action, and the Law of Protection. You
will learn how to heal by Breath, settle arguments and transform
situations by Harmony, be in expanding and fulfilling Abundance,
always be in the right place at the right time with the right
people in Right Action, and protect your home and loved ones by
Protection. Everyone wants to be happy, healthy, secure, and loved.
Knowing and practicing these Universal Laws daily will transform
your life. It did, for everyone I met. I know. I was there.
Are you trying your best to be a good parent but questioning if
your best is good enough? When it comes to parenting, it's not a
one-size-fits-all world. Just as each child is uniquely created, an
approach can be tailored that is a custom fit for each child. The
keys to forming that perfect fit are reliance on the Holy Spirit
and the Word.
Be assured that there is a spiritual battle being waged for the
lives of believers' children. Remaining oblivious to the war
practically ensures defeat. Children need us to be guardian
warriors who boldly take authority and do what is necessary to
avoid the snares, lures, and landmines that have been set for
them.
The war can be won without instilling fear. In fact, fear is one
of the enemy's favorite weapons, so fearful parents are playing
right into his hands. By discovering the basis for fear, it can be
rooted out and replaced by faith and peace.
The causes of schizophrenia are many, including extreme stress,
chemical imbalance, reaction to drugs, genetic predisposition,
isolation, low self-esteem, and even a damaged or weakened aura (a
supposed emanation surrounding the body of a living creature viewed
by mystics, spiritualists, and some practitioners of complementary
medicine as the essence of the individual and allegedly discernible
by people with special sensibilities). My personal onset of
schizophrenia and depression at age forty-two was caused, I
believe, by a combination of the above.
Through the caring help of family, friends, medical doctors,
healers, and my own insights and intuitions, I was able to become
completely free of the symptoms of schizophrenia and all
antipsychotic and antidepressant medications used to treat the
illness. Most influential and important to my healing and recovery,
however, was the utilization of both borrowed and original
strategies that keep me healthy to this day. The sharing of these
strategies, which include identifying one's gifts; relying on
family members, friends, and caregivers; improving one's
self-esteem; identifying one's authentic self; connecting with
healers; being in gratitude; setting goals; and using positive
affirmations for the purpose of recovering and maintaining positive
mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health is the reason why
I have written this book.
