Take a fascinating journey into the life of one of the most
respected, sought-after, and renowned magicians alive today: Lon
Milo DuQuette. In this follow-up to his popular autobiography, My
Life with the Spirits, DuQuette tells how a friend was cursed by a
well-known foreign filmmaker and how they removed that curse with a
little help from Shakespeare. He explains how, as a six-year-old,
he used the Law of Attraction to get a date with Linda Kaufman, the
most beautiful girl in first-grade. DuQuette also reveals the ins
and outs of working with demons and provides a compelling account
of performing an exorcism at a private Catholic high school. As
entertaining as they are informative, the true stories in this
memoir contain authentic magical theory and invaluable technical
information.

The 1616 classic treasure of Western esoteric wisdom, The Chemical
Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz, is one of three key manifestos of
the Rosicrucians and alchemists. It narrates a story of Christian
Rosenkreutz, who was invited to a miraculous castle to assist in
the 'chemical wedding' of the king and the queen. Filled with
alchemical metaphors, coded words and images, Dennis Klocek reveals
the profound meaning behind the colourful and surprising events
throughout the seven-day 'initiation' of Christian Rosenkreutz.
Each chapter is devoted to one of the seven days, featuring an
overview followed by fresh translations of the original text.
Illuminated by Klocek's comprehensive and unique commentaries, this
book offers an accessible introduction to the real meaning behind
the Rosicrucian path of inner development.

reasons you should use this book, too. First, if you have never

book can really be used by just about anyone. Third, by practicing
the techniques in this book, you'll learn the underpinnings of
magic. In no time you'll be able to come up with your own rituals

"The seidr current is fresh and vibrant, with the strength and
solidity of the Norse deities behind it." - Katie Gerrard Seidr is
the intriguing and powerful early Norse system of shamanistic
trance practices. In Seidr: The Gate is Open, Katie Gerrard has
contributed a major work on the practices of seidr and trance
prophecy, providing a practical manual full of dynamic group
rituals and techniques based on known Seidr practices. Foremost
amongst these techniques is the prophetic rite of the High Seat,
where the Volva (seer) sends her consciousness to the underworld
realm of Hel to gain answers to the questions posed to her.
Combining more than a decade of research and experimentation, this
book is characterised by both its scholarship and its
accessibility. Katie Gerrard shares her own experiences on the path
of the seer, and also draws inspiration from original sources in
the old texts of the Sagas and the Eddas, as well as contemporary
researchers and groups working with seidr in Scandinavia, Europe
and America. Techniques for achieving trance, levels of trance
possession, coming out of trance, the vardlokkurs (chants),
necessary equipment, and the requirements for the roles of the
different participants, are all discussed in a clear and concise
manner, as is the relevance of contacting the ancestors, the dead
and the appropriate gods, including the goddesses Freyja and Hel,
and the Allfather god Odin. As befits such an inspirational book,
the author provides both the relevant background information for
the eleven rites contained within, together with explanations of
their inclusion and purposes. The rites emanate practical
effectiveness, a result of their regular use over many years for
successful exploration of the mysteries of trance prophecy, the
High Seat rite and Norse witchcraft. "This is a spiritual journey
laid bare for an audience who are either already treading a similar
path or are looking for guidance in order to follow a well trodden
path to a similar end point." * * * * * Katie Gerrard is a writer,
researcher, and workshop facilitator with a passion for the magic
of Seidr and the Runes. She has been studying the different forms
of norse magic and working with norse gods since discovering them
in the 1990s. Katie is also the author of Odin's Gateways (about
working with the runes) and the forthcoming The Gate is Open (about
Seidr and Northern tradition magical techniques), both publised by
Avalonia Books. An essay on the High Sear Rite written by Katie
Gerrard appeared in the Avalonia anthology 'Priestesses,
Pythonesses, Sibyls'. She also regularly hosts seidr and other seer
and norse rites within the London (UK) area.

pan on your working area. Close your eyes, extend the index finger
of your weak hand, and gently touch the center of the pan with its
tip. Move it at random in the pan, shifting from one direction to

A very long time ago Odin unlocked the secrets of the Runes. In two
parts, Secrets of Asgard discusses their theoretical and a
practical aspects. Part one focusses centres on the meaning of the
individual runes and the myths, esplaining the Aettir alongside
Northern mythology. It describes each of the gods as well as the
Nine Worlds etc. The second part centres on the application of the
system, namely magic and divinatio and includes rituals and
exercises. A thesis of practical rune magic is developed which is
based on the Havamal 144 stanza. The analysis concludes that the
Runes were traditionally regarded as actual spirits. The stanza
explains how to make your own set as well as other talismanic
objects. The practice of galdr-singing is discussed in more depth
to complement the Havamal 144 techniques. Then, a discourse is
given on the most common Ancient Germanic magical formulae. They
complement the practical work on talismanic objects. A separate
chapter is given on divinatory practices. Useful information on
dreamwork is added and numerous other exercises used to make
contact with the subconscious mind through auto-suggestion, and
many other useul;ful ritual techniques and practices.

The 'Grimoire of Pope Honorius' is the first and most important of
the French 'black magic' grimoires which proliferated across Europe
in the 17th-19th centuries. Combining a grimoire of conjurations to
demons of the four directions and seven days of the week with a
Book of Secrets full of simple charms, the 'Grimoire of Pope
Honorius' was second only to the Key of Solomon in the influence it
exerted on magicians, charmers and cunning-folk in both rural and
urban France. 'The Complete Grimoire of Pope Honorius' contains
material translated from all four of the different French editions
of the 'Grimoire of Pope Honorius'.
A deluxe, new edition of a classical esoteric text with
unparalleled color plates.
In this groundbreaking book, Knight shows how the Qabalah and its
basic diagram, the Tree of Life, is a system of relationships among
mystical symbols that can be used to gain access to the hidden
reaches of the mind. He also demonstrates how the Qabalah is
applicable to all mystical traditions and religious beliefs,
including Christian mysticism, Greek, Egyptian and Celtic
mythologies, and even Native American beliefs. It is indeed
symbolic of our universal search for the Divine. Included here are
two books in one. The first compares the Western Mystery Tradition
with the Eastern system of yoga, analyzes the Tree of Life in full
detail, and describes the practical application and theories of
Qabalistic symbolism. The second gives the most comprehensive
analysis ever published of the twenty-two 'Paths of Concealed
Glory' that join the Spheres of the Tree of Life taking into
account the Hebrew alphabet, astrological signs, and tarot trumps.
A large section explores the history of tarot design and the
varying systems of correspondence with the Tree of Life.
