What happens when love is not enough? A true story of one family's
journey, although tragic, it raises awareness to the inherent risks
and rewards of adoption and foster care.
This compelling reconstruction of the life and thought of St Paul
paints a vivid picture of the Roman world in which he preached his
revolutionary message and explains the significance of his lasting
impact on both the Church and the world. Regarded by many as the
founder of Christianity, Paul of Tarsus is one of the most
controversial and powerful figures in history. His writings have
had an incalculable influence on Western culture and beyond, and
his words continue to guide the lives of over two billion
Christians across the world today. In this superbly detailed
biography Tom Wright traces Paul's career from zealous persecutor
of the fledgling Church, through his journeys as the world's
greatest missionary theologian, to his likely death as a Christian
martyr at the hands of Nero in the mid 60s CE. Drawing judiciously
on the latest research into the Jewish, Greek and Roman worlds, and
enriched by a wealth of critical insight into Paul's own writings,
this is the most rounded portrait of the apostle ever painted - his
development, motivations, spiritual struggles and intellectual
achievements, and his lasting impact over two millennia.
Cuddled in God's Hands is a magnificent inspirational
autobiographical journey of a woman whose life is filled with a
mixture of joy, pain, tragedy, euphoria, and supernatural visions.
This memoir portrays the author's upbringing in Greenwood,
Mississippi, during the pinnacle of the Civil Rights movement.
During this turbulent segregated period in history, the author
gives an in-depth look at her life and how, as a teenager, she and
her family coped. The book chronicles the author's spiritual growth
and shares stories of her extraordinary supernatural visions and
encounters with angels. Her most amazing story of all is revealed
when she is on the edge of despair after a horrible breakup with
her husband, and God came to her and lifted her out of her darkness
and brought her into the light. This transformed her life forever
and gave her enormous faith as she juggled the many commitments of
teaching, the uplifting yet critical demands of motherhood, and the
resolve to triumph no matter what obstacles lay waiting.
There is so much to say about a woman who doesn't know the meaning
of the word "can't." Kimily has the passion to heal, deliver, and
set free. God uses this passion to continuously renew her faith,
instilling her belief that "with Christ all things are possible."
Although Kimily has had more than her fair share of obstacles to
overcome, she is, what one may call, a "Bodacious woman of Faith" -
an individual who quickly arises at the sound of God's voice, with
great conviction. Kimily will not stop short of carrying out her
purpose and call in any given season. I don't know if she realizes
it, but she has the ability to empower life and prosperity in the
life of another in the midst of a mere conversation. This life
story is a great testimony of humility, acceptance, grace and love.
It is with great zeal that I recommend this book to all readers,
young and seasoned. At one time or another, we all will have
addictions to overcome. Whether it is drugs, alcohol, sex, or plain
negativity, true problems occur when an individual is not willing
to face their weaknesses. When weaknesses are not acknowledged and
dealt with accordingly, the individual is inevitably suffocated by
their own challenges. When reading through the pages of this book,
you will witness Kimily's ability to persevere through the "miry
muck" and walk forth in great favor and God given ability. To
Kimily Thompson Jenkins, God is our father and He is a fan of your
success. Thank you for understanding the process. You're God

Pastor Jim Knotek has experienced quite a few miracles and healings
among his parishioners and, especially, at home with his family.
Miracles certainly fascinate us; even so, we must focus not on the
miracle but on the miracle-maker, Jesus Christ. There would be no
other reason for a miracle, unless Jesus was at the very center of
it. He and His angels are continually watching over. Angels and
miracles are interrelated, intertwined under all conditions and
circumstances. As God's children, we are in a very unique
relationship with Him and His angels. "Angels and Miracles, Grief
and Hope, " includes the word grief because most of us have had
firsthand knowledge of death and grief among our immediate family,
relatives, or friends. Grief and death are not pleasant thoughts,
but unfortunately, we can't get away from those unwelcome
intruders. The sadness and desolation of dealing with Alzheimer's
disease and the trauma of losing a spouse are wrapped in the
knowledge that there is life after death and that Jesus Christ is
God In his memoir, Pastor Knotek tells his story and shares the
glory of God and the place that miracles and angels play in the
biggest miracle-life
In 1982, after the death of her second husband, Margery McManus
Leach began a life of travel that opened her eyes to the many
injustices in the world. In "On Being Born Again and Again, " she
recounts how her life was constantly renewed by responding to the
needs of others in foreign lands. Her rebirths, as she refers to
them, began when she began participating in church-sponsored
seminars in 1982. While she was visiting in the Marshall Islands on
a National Council of Churches overseas seminar experience, she
heard testimony from individuals who had suffered grievously from
US nuclear testing. She was horrified by what the United States
government had done to these people and further distressed that
their independence was being delayed until an agreement was signed
that would continue unwanted nuclear presence in their territory.
She could not maintain her silence about these injustices, and in
1984 it became her mission to travel around the United States
exposing their actions as well as the roadblocks to world peace
that they built up. This revised edition of "On Being Born Again
and Again" incorporates pieces from the earlier edition of the book
with this revised edition, providing background for this edition.
