Resi-Blast is a single part liquid additive that is dropped into wet and coloured (pigmented) resin. The additive is commonly referred to as a dispersant, interference (or distressing) medium. Helps create cells or cell like effects.

Essentially it is a single-part polymeric liquid that reacts with wet epoxy, polyester and polyurethane resins by repelling itself away, thereby stimulating movement and blooming in concentric outward circles. It is not a paint or a resin and will not cure on its own.

Droplets should be added to the pigmented resin surface immediately after mixing/pigmenting. The motion is instigated instantaneously and can be further enhanced by applying heat in that area. Do not wait for the resin to gel or partially cure as Resi-Blast will not work.

Resi-Blast will not react or retard the curing cycle of the resin. The additive may leave shallow uniform depressions ( craters ) in the resin surface which can add to its optical effect. In addition any residue of the additive will migrate to the surface of the resin and should be wiped off with a dry cloth after the resin has fully cured. This residue can also act as a polish layer to further enhance a glossy resin surface.

It is safe to use, odourless, inert, stable, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-VOC with no aggressive chemical, solvent or alcohol ink content. Resi-Blast has been awarded ASTM certification as a non-hazardous and non-toxic artwork resin colourant.

TotalCast Resin is an optically clear, high-gloss, hybrid polymer resin system which is suitable for the protection and decoration of artwork, paintings or sculptures. This is because it provides a tough coating with good abrasion resistance.

It is easy to use because it cures at room temperatures and is self-levelling. The resin is non-flammable, odour-free and has no solvent content.
