In his debut novel, Richard Mason takes us back to 1944 Arkansas
through the eyes of Richard, a twelve-year-old with a dream. The
dream seems simple enough-to buy a red scarf for Rosalie, the
prettiest girl in school. However, simply buying a scarf doesn't
usually include skunks, bobcats, robbers, and a cast of eccentric
characters such as Wing, the one-armed constable who swings a mean
blackjack, and Bubba, a big man who wields an even bigger frying
pan.
esparcimiento y razonamiento. Con mucha ternura para todos: "Sinfon
a."

be a giant egg, was killed but everyone else thinks it was an
accident? "Humpty Dumpty Was Pushed," a collection of twenty-two
short fairy tale-like stories, tackles that question and many more.

friend did not fall from the ledge, and he intends to prove there
is a conspiracy. Will he discover the truth before it's too late?
Filled with interesting and delightful characters, these short
stories ask questions not raised before. Can a reverse vampire find
true love? Can the World Nose Hair champion really make the world a
better place? Is it ever wise to stick cheese noodles in your nose?
Can one live their life squeezing other people's ears in peace? If
a whale and a tiger had a fight who would win?

folklore, "Humpty Dumpty Was Pushed" tells a series of tales with
surprises to keep you guessing. Each story asks a different
question, and each story offers a different, strange answer.

"Gramps Short Stories and Tall Tales, " is the third children's
book written by Lloyd Wright. It contains twenty-eight stories on
various subjects. The stories were written for his family, little
friends, and anyone else with a curious mind and a sense of humor.
Most of the subject matter was derived from observing and
listening to the students in the two kindergarten classes as he
reads to them. He has incorporated good manners, love, friendship,
laughter, sharing, safety, and imagination through out the book.
Some of the stories were written to fit in with the units the
children were studying such as dinosaurs.
He is a volunteer that was fortunate enough to find two
kindergarten classes that will share their time and affection with
him. They refer to him as, 'Gramps."
