Born & educated in the Netherlands, Michelle Lucking has always had a close, emotional affinity to water. She was inspired at an early age by the beauty of light reflections on the canal that ran alongside her house. This developed into a deep love of the ocean in her adult years.

Today Michelle lives by the coast in North Somerset, England, and spends many hours photographing the changeable & powerful nature of the sea & sky in order to create unique compositions for her paintings.
