Written by an anonymous figure who wished for the book to be published posthumously, Meditations on the Tarot has been translated from the original French by author Robert Powell, who lives in Germany.
Rachel True, an actress best known for her role in The Craft, is a lifelong occultist - she had been reading tarot cards long before being cast in the 90s witchy cult classic. Now, True shares her tarot knowledge through her unique guidebook and deck boxed set. Each card in the deck is uniquely made following a beautiful, multicultural aesthetic. True's guidebook helps readers use the cards as she does: with an intuitive approach, rather than assigning one literal definition to each card. She shares personal stories from her experiences in Hollywood to explain how the cards can mean something different for each person, depending on their unique set of circumstances. True's stance is that tarot cards don't predict the future, but rather suggest possible outcomes based on the reader's present energy.

An absolutely stunning display of lavish gold foil and exquisite Renaissance art, this deck is pure magic and mystery The shimmering gold reflects the light, seducing the intuition and delighting the eye. This deck is a treasure, truly a must-have for all Tarot enthusiasts. Originally commissioned in 1450 by the Duke of Milan, and attributed to Bonifacio Bembo, this is a reproduction of the oldest extant Tarot deck. This product includes 78 full-color cards and 9 cards with instructions. No booklet included. Publisher Review: When I was in high school, I was fortunate enough to take a trip through Europe. I desperately wanted to see some of the famous sites. I ended up disappointed with many of them. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was just an old building falling on its side. The Eiffel Tower was an enormous rusty hunk of metal. The Mona Lisa was dark, dingy, and criss-crossed with hairline cracks. The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel was likewise dark and dismal with muted colors (it's been cleaned since I was there). The truth is that great works of art and architecture age and need to be cared for. Most art does not receive the appropriate care. Perhaps the oldest--and certainly the most complete--example we have of the Tarot is known by a variety of names. Attributed to Bonifacio Bembo, they were commissioned in 1450 for Filippo Maria Visconti, the Duke of Milan, Italy. Because they weren't finished until his successor, Francesco Sforza, was in office, this deck is often called the Visconti-Sforza Tarot or simply the Visconti Tarot. Today read more]

Voodoo's African, West Indian, and Catholic influences. Ancient and
earth-honoring, Voodoo's practices take on different forms specific
to time and place, but its essence remains focused on the
"loa"--the potent spiritual forces of Voodoo that are manifested
directly through human beings and their actions.

In twentieth century Vienna, the art of Gustav Klimt held a primary position. Inspired by this modern master, Golden Tarot of Klimt is teeming with impressions, stamped in gold, that recount love, death, sensuality, and regeneration. Publisher Review: The art of Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), filled with symbolism, passion and eroticism, have become so popular that they appear everywhere, from posters on college student's walls to coffee mugs, from stained glass imitations to ceramic tile. His piece, "The Kiss," is virtually iconic and his painting of Adele Bloch-Bauer sold for $135 million in 2006, the highest price ever for a painting. Klimt combined graphic techniques with pictorial ones, flaunting conventions of the time, perhaps in anticipation of Weimar Germany that began a year after his death.
