Sam Taylor Wood's directorial debut is a chronicle of John Lennon's teenage years. Set in 1950s Liverpool, the film tells the story of the spirited but troubled fifteen-year-old Lennon (Aaron Johnson), who finds himself caught in the crossfire between his formidable Aunt Mimi (Kristin Scott Thomas) and his mother Julia (Anne-Marie Duff). When John meets fellow musician and kindred spirit Paul McCartney (Thomas Sangster), his creative genius at last finds an outlet and the most famous partnership in music is born. But just as John's new life begins, a dark truth from his past leads to a tragedy he will never escape.

Living a secret life as a master hangman, as well as a humble grocery deliveryman and loyal husband, Pierrepoint's reputation as the most highly regarded executioner in the land results in him executing some of Britain's most infamous murderers including Derek Bentley and Ruth Ellis, and also the Nazi war criminals convicted at the Nuremberg Trials. But the media coverage from these shatters Pierrepoint's closely guarded anonymity turning him into a minor celebrity.

Thriller loosely based on the autobiography by Martin McGartland, former undercover informant to the British police on the activities of the IRA. Set in Belfast in the late 1980s, the film shows how McGartland led a double life for four years while still in his early twenties, revealing nothing of his position even to close friends and family, until his cover was blown in 1991 and he was kidnapped and tortured by the IRA. Ben Kingsley co-stars as Fergus, McGartland's British 'handler'.
Mega-budget action adventure based on the comic strip by Will Eisner. Gabriel Macht stars as Denny Colt, the former rookie cop who returns from the dead as The Spirit, a mysterious hero whose mission is to fight crime from the shadows of Central City. His nemesis is the equally elusive Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson), who plans to wipe out the entire city in his relentless quest for immortality and immediately kills anyone who has the misfortune to glimpse his face. As The Spirit pursues this cold-hearted killer, he finds himself becoming a magnet to a collection of beautiful women (played by Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes and Jaime King), all of whom have their own reasons for wanting to get close to him - whether it be to seduce him, love him or kill him.
