Now you can learn how to evoke and communicate with 50 spirit
entities and make use of their abilities, when you get "Summoning
Spirits "by Konstantinos.
Evoking spirits is one of the most powerful magical techniques you
can use-but, until now, most of the material available on evocation
has been virtually unusable because it was written by those with
little practical evocation experience. "Summoning Spirits "was
written by a practicing magician who has successfully performed
many evocations. With his guidance and clear directions, performing
evocations will be easy and safe for anyone.
-Learn to safely evoke powerful spirits to aid you with any task
-Create sigils charged with the energy of spirits to magnify the
effects of your evocations
-Make an etheric "egregore," a manufactured spirit that will
perform the task of your choice
-Perform easy exercises to train your magical abilities and to
develop clairvoyance and clairaudience
-Construct, prepare, and use special magical tools to aid your
evocations
-
"Summoning Spirits" is a complete manual for evoking entities to
effect positive changes in your life. Learn how the spirits that
dwell on the other planes can be evoked to the astral and physical
planes to help you obtain mystical abilities, locate hidden
"treasure," and even command a spirit "army" to protect your home
while you're away.
"Summoning Spirits "describes the specific attributes and abilities
of 50 entities that you can evoke to uncover valuable knowledge,
and who will help you succeed in nearly any task, magical or
mundane.
Whether you need help to face life's challenges or to work a minor
miracle, you will find the art of magical evocation a tremendously
potent tool for change. Included are information and theory, as
well as full instructions for all the rituals you will need to
prepare for and then evoke spirits. No other book makes this
ancient magical technique as easy to understand and use, as does
this one. That's why you must get "Summoning Spirits.

Phyllis Curott’s first book, Book of Shadows, was an inspirational, spiritual memoir that chronicled her journey from Ivy League-educated, New York City attorney to Wiccan High Priestess. By inviting readers of all faiths to share in her own personal transformation, Phyllis debunked many of the myths surrounding Wicca and revealed it for what it really is: a spiritual movement whose tenets of Goddess worship and reverence for Nature were a great deal more accessible and familiar than she’d ever expected. In Witch Crafting, Phyllis digs deep into the practices and principles of Witchcraft to provide a comprehensive guidebook that anyone "novices and seasoned practitioners alike" can use to incorporate the beauty and power of Wicca into their own daily lives. Far from being just another mechanical spell book, Witch Crafting is the first book to offer readers not only the how-to of Witchcraft, but also the why-to, explaining the profound spiritual tenets behind Wiccan techniques. Filled with both traditional and innovative shamanic practices, Phyllis also provides an empowering new definition of magic and reexamines the ethics under which Witchcraft is practiced, offering a groundbreaking alternative to the Threefold Law. With enchanting stories from Curott’s own experiences, Witch Crafting will also teach you how to: • Master the secret arts of effective spellcasting
• Create sacred space and personal rituals
• Perform divinations for spiritual insight and earthly success
• Tap into the power of altered states, such as dreaming, meditation, prayer, and trance
• Keep a magical journal and create your own Book of Shadows ·Keep a magical

The journalist and author W. H. Davenport Adams (1828 91)
established a reputation for himself as a popular science writer,
translator and lexicographer. He also wrote several children's
books. In this 1889 work, Adams gives a general introduction to
alchemy in Europe and traces the development of magic and alchemy
in England from the fourteenth century onwards. Initially the
disciplines were persecuted by the Church and met with 'the
prejudice of the vulgar', languishing throughout the sixteenth and
seventeenth centuries. In Book 1 Adams portrays the English
'magicians' Roger Bacon, whom he considers to have been ahead of
his contemporaries; John Dee and William Lilly, astrologists of the
sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, respectively; and the English
Rosicrucians. Book 2 is a historical account of witchcraft in
England and Scotland, from the middle ages to the witch trials of
the seventeenth century, and includes a chapter on witchcraft in
literature.
Vampires and Vampirism (1914) is a work from another era, a time
when belief and wonder led some to travel down pathways of
knowledge in search of truth and terror, not knowing what they
would find. Written in response to an "awakened [popular] interest
in supernormal phenomena" in the early twentieth century, Dudley
Wright's Vampires and Vampirism traces the history of vampirism
around the world, from ancient Babylonia, Assyria, and Greece, to
Great Britain, Germany, and Eastern Europe. Beginning with the
question "What is a vampire?", Wright seeks to first define the
term before moving into an analysis of how belief in vampirism
emerged from various and distant religious and cultural traditions.
Each chapter uses a scholarly mix of ancient and modern sources to
enlighten the reader, and the book culminates in a chapter titled
"Fact or Fiction?", which allows the reader to hear from believers
and skeptics alike. The book includes harrowing personal accounts
of outbreaks of vampirism in British India and Mexico, as well as a
lengthy bibliography. In a world where matters of occult nature,
such as astrology, have reentered the popular consciousness,
Vampires and Vampirism is sure to be of interest. It is also a
fascinating document of a time when Europeans-faced with spiritual
doubt and inspired by religious traditions and myths from the outer
reaches of empire-sought to establish new systems of belief, new
orders they hoped could replace those they feared were quickly
becoming lost. At times despicable, and always controversial,
Dudley Wright was a tireless searcher whose life included
conversions to Islam and Catholicism, forays into
anti-Semitism-later retracted-and a deep, spiritual involvement
with organizations dedicated to matters both visible and invisible,
true and beyond belief. With a beautifully designed cover and
professionally typeset manuscript, this new edition of Dudley
Wright's Vampires and Vampirism is a classic of history and horror
reimagined for modern readers.
Sir Walter Scott wrote "Letters on Demonology and Witchcraft" for
Murray's Family Library (a series of books on diverse topics to be
published in cheap five shilling volumes) at the request of his
son-in-law, J.G. Lockhart. The books does indeed take the form of
letters covering areas of demonology and witchcraft from biblical
times to current day. Scott's approach to the subject is one of
skepticism and rational thought -- superstitions and beliefs are
often the cause of a lack of understanding of strange cultures and
religions. He ends the book with an fervent hope for his countrymen
that ." . . the sense of humanity is too universally spread to
permit them to think of tormenting wretches till they confess what
is impossible, and then burning them for their pains."
