Incredible book on the Calculus of Variations. It stands out from other books on the subject because the author delves into a depth understanding and intuition that is not covered in other books. It does this without skimping on the mathematics.
This book really opened my eyes to the beauty of the subject. All of this author's mathematics books are beautiful and eye opening.
