Im vorliegenden Band werden Indikation, Technik, ]berwachung, Grenzen und Kosten der einzelnen Verfahren dargestellt. Neben der pr{operativen Eigenblutspende, der Plasmapherese und der H{modilution sind dies intraoperativ die maschinelle Autotransfusion und das blutsparende Operieren. In enger Kooperation zwischen Transfusionsmedizin, Chirurgie und An{sthesie wurde ein Konsensuspapier erarbeitet, um Empfehlungen f}r die Klinik, aber auch f}r den Patienten geben zu k-nnen.
