This book is a Collection of old regional Recipes from the Central
area of Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Most of these recipes were popular and used in the early 1970's and
many of them are even older. They are simple and basic recipes for
preparing hearty and tasty dishes eaten every day by the people of
the area at that time. They are from an era when foods were
prepared with simple ingredients, and simple equipment, but with
love.
