This innovative book addresses the historical development of social and fiscal policies from the late 1970s to the present day by asking three major questions: What has changed? How have these changes affected the lifecourse? What are the potential lifetime impacts of policy change? This book provides an overview of the development of policy change over the period and uses an innovative and unique lifetime approach 'from the cradle to the grave' to put it into perspective.
