There is a focus within the U.S. toward providing travelers with
information that enables them to make informed decisions about
their schedules, modes, and routes of travel. U.S. transportation
agencies are developing traveler information products that are
coupled with weather, location, event, and emergency information. A
U.S. cohort visited 8 European cities to examine their products and
services. Their findings and recommendations regarding
products/services and their applicability in the U.S. are detailed.
