Traci Anne Holmes was a healthy mom-to-be when her first child was born nine weeks early. Being the mom of a preemie was the most terrifying experience of her life. The baby weighs fifteen ounces and is only twelve inches long. Now begins the fight for her daughter, and the fight with her emotions. How can she do this? At fifteen ounces, how can she survive? What will she be like if she does? For the author, there is her guilt, her emotions, and lots of time in different NICUs.
