What makes us brilliant? What makes us deadly? What makes us Sapiens? Yuval Noah Harari challenges everything we know about being human in the perfect read for these unprecedented times.

Earth is 4.5 billion years old. In just a fraction of that time, one species among countless others has conquered it: us.

In this bold and provocative book, Yuval Noah Harari explores who we are, how we got here and where we’re going.

‘I would recommend Sapiens to anyone who’s interested in the history and future of our species’ Bill Gates

‘Interesting and provocative… It gives you a sense of how briefly we’ve been on this Earth’ Barack Obama

Great Book Awful Service

Tue, 14 Jan 2020 | Review by: Michael-John F.

I thought that ordering this book through Loot would be best as it was a little cheaper than in physical book stores at the time. It also took a really long time to arrive but that wasn't a big deal. As a book lover, I need to say that I am incredibly disappointed at the condition this book arrived in. The cover is full of yellow smears and there are dark finger smudges on the pages at the top of the book. Was the booked packed by an unwashed coal miner, Loot? At this point exchanging it is going to be more effort and time that it's worth but this is not a pleasant feel. Very disappointed in the service from Loot. Rather go somewhere else, you will get this amazing book much faster and in much better condition.
