A triple bill of sci-fi cops. The first film, 'Robocop', is set in the near future and Detroit's soaring crime rate is unsuccessfully policed by a corporation which plans to build a new city, if its workers can go about unmolested. When its new 'enforcement droid' proves unworkable, a murdered cop (Peter Weller) is wired into a computer-controlled titanium body and set to the task at hand. Unimpressed, 'Robocop' seeks vengeance on all sides in this violent but often funny tale. In the second film, 'Robocop 2', a new model, Robocop 2 (Tom Noonan), is built while Robocop 1 still patrols the streets of Detroit. Robocop 2 is given a maniac's 'soul', thereby setting the stage for a showdown between the two computer constables. Finally, in 'Robocop 3' Robocop is befriended by a young girl whose parents have been killed, and after his partner is killed by the head of a private security firm, he joins a group of rebels to fight back against the evil businessmen. There is a notable fight sequence between a plastic-like robot Ninja and the sluggish metal Robocop, which, together with the rebels hiding out in the derelict General Motors Factory, constitutes a thinly veiled critique of the Japanese car industry from the heart of Detroit - the original motor city.

When you have a baby, the first thing you wish you had more of is probably time; time for yourself, time to sleep, time to take care of work/house. I'm sure I am not the first to tell you that babies are very demanding on your time, energy and resources. If you are not prepared for what to expect, it can really throw you for a loop. Many first time parents will say that they have experience either raising or helping to raise younger siblings or other family members or friends. However, when it's your own child, things are very different. The responsibility is 100% yours. Everything about that child you need to decide for them, including their healthcare choices, at least until they are old enough to decide for themselves anyway. Thankfully you have made the decision that homeopathy is going to be part of your child's healthcare choices. With these books, you will be shown how to bring relief to yours and your child's most common acute ailments. Usually a homeopath will consult several books to come to a conclusion for the correct remedy fitting the symptoms of the patient. The first kind of book is called a repertory where lists of symptoms are presented and all the remedies fitting those symptoms are listed. The next step is to narrow down the remedies to top two or three remedies by asking questions such as location, sensation and modalities (this will be further discussed in chapter 1). Once narrowed down, the next kind of book consulted is called a materia medica. This is a detail of each remedy and all the symptoms they present. The remedy chosen is the one that best fits the symptoms of the patient. However, with these books, all your answers are right here. These books are a repertory and materia medica of the most common ailments a child and their mother/caregiver will go through in their first few years of life as well as older children.
A few words about this book These books are intended to be used as a quick and simple reference guide to finding the most appropriate homeopathic remedy based upon the symptoms of the child. The Vital Sensation Manual is a series of five units for homeopaths to learn how to apply and take homeopathic cases using the Sensation Method. The manual is an interesting read for non-homeopaths, but is not meant to be used by lay-people who are not formally trained in homeopathy. This fifth unit focuses on the vital expression using the Sensation Method in homeopathy. The in-depth course provides a comprehensive understanding of the methods used to prescribe and treat patients homeopathically based on Dr. Rajan Sankaran's theories, research, teaching and practice. The Sensation Method developed by the Bombay Group led by Dr. Rajan Sankaran improves your self confidence because there are clear indications of how to follow the case and to narrow the prescriptions. Easy To Understand, Logical, Many Examples, Understand The Principles And Apply Them... The manual explains where you are when taking a case, and how to use a mapping system when using this approach: Begin with the chief complaint Discover the Vital Sensation (where the mind and body connect) Follow the various levels (going beyond the level of Delusion to the levels of Sensation and Energy where the qualities of the substance are described by the patient) Differentiate the four kingdoms--Mineral, Plant, Animal and Imponderable Apply the tools of miasms Make an accurate prescription based on Source and Sensation language and confirmed through traditional methods of the repertory and Materia Medica when available The manual includes Melissa Burch's paper cases edited for easy reading and with comments specific to the topic of the unit. All the information in the manual is founded on the principles of Classical Homeopathy and the work of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. Based on Dr. Rajan Sankaran's ideas, cases and previously published materials by Melissa Burch, CCH.
