The love expressed both for Queen Muse and my mother fuse in to an insight into the nature of Absolute Love which can never be taken away or broken, even by geographical distance or the all-encompassing reality of mortality. These poems try to understand the essence of both life and reality while maintaining a humor and an optimism that is increasingly difficult to cultivate as the ideals of passion and devotion to another seem more and more to be slipping away from the world. "Seraphim" portrays the angels that keep the bliss of Earth alive and, in many cases, thriving.
