Welcome to Eden, Wyoming: a town founded by criminals, for
criminals, where crime is not tolerated. But a terrible murder
shatters the fragile peace of this remote town, driving local
postman Mark Shiffron down a twisting path toward the truth about
his hometown—and himself. After all, as the son of its
co-founders, Eden is his birthright. Â Co-writers BRYAN HILL
& MATT HAWKINS team with artist ISAAC GOODHART for an
unflinching tale about the price of redemption, told from the
perspective of a young man with Asperger’s and set in the murky
soul of America’s heartland.  Collects POSTAL #1-25,

Coping with Adversity addresses the question of why some
metropolitan-area regional economies are resilient in the face of
economic shocks and chronic distress while others are not. It is
particularly concerned with what public policies make a difference
in whether a region is resilient. The authors employ a wide range
of techniques to examine the experience of all metropolitan area
economies from 1978-2014. They then look closely at six American
metropolitan areas to determine what strategies were employed,
which of these contributed to regional economic resilience, and
which did not. Charlotte, North Carolina, Seattle, Washington, and
Grand Forks, North Dakota, are cases of economic resilience, while
Cleveland, Ohio, Hartford, Connecticut, and Detroit, Michigan, are
cases of economic nonresilience. The six case studies include hard
data on employment, production, and demographics, as well as
material on public policies and actions. The authors conclude that
there is little that can done in the short term to counter economic
shocks; most regions simply rebound naturally after a relatively
short period of time. However, they do find that many regions have
successfully emerged from periods of prolonged economic distress
and that there are policies that can be applied to help them do so.
Coping with Adversity will be important reading for all those
concerned with local and regional economic development, including
public officials, urban planners, and economic developers.
The Making of Modern Law: Foreign, Comparative and International
Law, 1600-1926, brings together foreign, comparative, and
international titles in a single resource. Its International Law
component features works of some of the great legal theorists,
including Gentili, Grotius, Selden, Zouche, Pufendorf,
Bijnkershoek, Wolff, Vattel, Martens, Mackintosh, Wheaton, among
others. The materials in this archive are drawn from three
world-class American law libraries: the Yale Law Library, the
George Washington University Law Library, and the Columbia Law
Library. Now for the first time, these high-quality digital scans of
original works are available via print-on-demand, making them
readily accessible to libraries, students, independent scholars,
and readers of all ages.+++++++++++++++The below data was compiled

This "Applied Java Programming" text book is designed teach Applied
Java Programming integrated with simple data structures, HTML
essentials, PHP script language essentials, and MYSQL essentials.
All exercises are programming problems. Programming problems are
used as exercises to enforce a programming paradigm. A high percent
of learning to program is highly correlated with the practice of
designing and implementing programs for specific requirements. The
translator or compiler will enhance the student knowledge through
the trail and error process of removing errors from their programs.
Emphasis is on defining Java constructs and their use in applied
programming. Students are encouraged to program all the exercises
at the end of each Chapter. Also students are encouraged to program
their own applications to enhance their knowledge base. The idea is
to program as many applications as possible using various Java
constructs to improve programming skills in the Java programming
language, HTML, PHP, and MySQL in implementing applied
applications. Emphasis is placed on programming applications. To
enforce this paradigm Chapters are organized to maximize the
learning process in implementing applied applications.
This Learning to Program Java text book is designed as the first
course of a two semester course in Java programming. Selected
topics from the Java programming language are introduced to
facilitate a beginner programming in Java. All exercises are
programming problems. Programming problems are used as exercises to

output are introduced all programs should read and write files to
devices to maximize the learning experience.
"Data Structures and Algorithms Using Java" covers introductory
topics on linked stacks, linked queues, linked deques, lists,
trees, hashing, text processing, file structures, and inverted
files. Data structures and their use in programming are emphasized.
The high level programming language Java used as a tool supports
designs and implementations of data structures. This applies data
structures and improves programming skills in the high level
programming language. High level language use with data structures
empowers thinking necessary to think links. This empowerment
paradigm uses a data structure model (DSM) to emulate a few
constructs from the List Processing (LISP) language. Each data
structure in the model uses a sequential order to show the
relationships and differences in the data structures.
