Everyone in this world faces stress in some or other area of life.
In this modern world, man is making various kinds of adjustments in
his social, psychological, economical, religious and political
spheres, these adjustment problems have become manifold in the
recent years due to multifactor causes such as individualization,
urbanization, industrialization and many more. An individual does
not feel satisfied with what he has and is always in search of what
he does not possess. This constant lure to have more has led him to
lead a life full of stresses and strains and so modern life is full
of stresses and strains. Stress is a fact and part of life and is
as old as life. It is all around us - at work, in our environment
and in our personal lives. Teaching can be a stressful occupation.
The daily interactions with students and coworkers and the
incessant and fragmented demands of teaching often lead to
overwhelming pressures and challenges, which may lead to stress.
Where work stress is unrelenting....The study of Occupational
Stress among teachers is of great significance. One's abilities are
reflected through the performance and that performance is related
to the mental stress..
Over the past few decades stress is emerging as an increasing
problem in organizations. Stress is vigorous state in which a
person is confronted with an opportunity, demand, or resource
related to what the individual wishes and for which the outcome is
perceived to be both vague and vital. (Selye, 1936) first
introduced the idea of stress in to the life science. He defined
stress as the force, pressure, or tension subjected upon an
individual who resists these forces and attempt to uphold its true
state. Basically what is stress? The HSE (Health Safety Executive
UK) defines stress is an undesirable response people have to
tremendous pressures or other types of demands placed upon them.
Stress is inevitable. It affects everyone including bank workers
and from all findings, it is still predominant in the industry.
Banks should provide social and sport facilities for their workers.
They should ensure that they give adequate training on stress and
its management to their workers.

Today, persons with high and improved quality are of paramount
importance for the nation's economic growth and development. The
most important factor in the contemplated educational
reconstruction is the teacher, his educational qualification,
professional training and place he occupies in the school as well
as his community. The organizational climate means the interpersonal
relationship within the group and between the groups and its leader
respectively. An organization is a special kind of group. A school
is also an organization. Like other organizations, it has to
operate according to a set of principles and established roles. In
a congenial atmosphere, teachers work whole-heartedly, effectively
and collectively. If the atmosphere is not favorable but rather
repressive the teachers tend to function less effectively.
Satisfaction can be defined as the extent to which the reward
actually received, meets or exceeds the perceived equitable reward.
Job satisfaction is an attitude, which results from a balanced
summation of many positive and negative experiences in connection
with the job. A worker may like certain aspects of his work, yet
dislike others.
