Dabei rücken verstärkt Themen der theoretischen Philosophie in den Vordergrund: Was ist eigentlich Wissen? Auf welche Informationen können wir uns verlassen? Ist die Wahrheit relativ? Was macht ExpertInnen aus? Was ist gute wissenschaftliche Praxis? Was bedeutet ‚evidenzbasiert‘? Welchen sozialen und globalen Einflüssen ist unser Wissenserwerb ausgesetzt? Diese Studie hat sich einen doppelten Umbruch zum Gegenstand gemacht: politische Wende und Arbeitslosigkeit werden in ihren Auswirkungen auf die Betroffenen untersucht. Dem Forschungsbericht liegen offene Interviews und Biographiefragebogen von 50 Lehrerinnen und Lehrern vor, die nach der Wende in den neuen Bundeslandern arbeitslos geworden sind.
Die verbindet dabei verschiedene theoretische Perspektiven:
- Vom Blickwinkel sozialwissenschaftlicher Transformationsforschung aus werden die subjektiven Wirkungen gesellschaftlicher Veranderungsprozesse im Rahmen der Deutschen Einheit untersucht;
- aus der Perspektive differentieller Arbeitslosenforschung werden lehrerberufsspezifische Belastungen und Verarbeitungsprozesse der Arbeitslosigkeit auf dem Hintergrund individueller Stressoren und Ressourcen analysiert;
- der entwicklungspsychologische und berufsbiographische Blickwinkel erklart die aktuelle Situation der Betroffenen auf der Folie ihres bisherigen Lebenslaufes.
