Fabriano Pittura is a brilliant white, 400gsm paper. It is made from high-grade cellulose and is woodfree. This paper is acid-free, with archival permanence, and a rough, natural-grain surface. Fabriano Pittura acrylic paper is tub and surface-sized. This paper is suitable for acrylic, tempera, oil and multimedia work.

Ground marble (crystalline calcium carbonate) can be mixed directly with paint, to add bulk without changing the colour and while retaining the elements that allow the paint to harden. The acicular particle shape of Wollastonite lends itself to creating texture from ready-made paints such as Matisse background for pastels or mixing with Polymer Gloss Varnish, to create areas of texture on a canvas or painting. Mix up to 20-50% Wollastonite to gesso paint to create a superb textured surface for pastels and charcoal. Wollastonite produces a more uneven texture than Ground Quartz, therefore giving a great ground for harder pastels (use Ground Quartz for soft pastels). Wollastonite is ideal for acrylic paints due to its alkaline properties. Schmincke Acrylic Matt Varnish is a synthetic resin aerosol varnish that provides a flexible and removable film.A final matt varnish for acrylic paintings it is colourless, non-yellowing, age-resistant, fast drying and offers UV protection.
