Stephen Wilkinson, better known by his stage name Bibio, is releasing his second EP of 2023, Sunbursting EP. Spanning 7 tracks, the release features Berlin based DC-born singer, Oliver St Louis on the opening track as well as Icelandic saxophonist Óskar Guðjónsson. The EP will be out on September 22nd on Warp Records.

Documentary about the Chigaco-based blues label, Alligator Records, focusing on its first 20 years in business. The label was formed in 1971 by Bruce Iglauer and its former and current acts include Koko Taylor, Sonny Boy Williamson, Marcia Ball, Clifton Chenier and Roomful of Blues.

This edition of Beat Goes On's two-fer series features a pair of LPs by the British boogie blues band Savoy Brown: Skin 'n' Bone and Savage Return, originally issued on London in 1976 and 1978. Highlights among the 15 tracks include "Get on Up and Do It," "She's the One," and "Rock 'n' Roll Man."
