It is commonly known that the United States was founded by men with
a philosophy grounded in the occult: namely Freemasons, who saw in
the US a potential "New Atlantis," which would guide the nations
towards a New World Order of peace, democracy, and enlightenment.
But what few people understand is the correlation between the
esoteric doctrines of Masonry and the economic principles that
underpin the American economy. Few understand that the dollar is a
unit of magical energy, and the dollar bill itself a magical
talisman. Although many words have been written by conspiracy
theorists analyzing the Masonic symbols on the one dollar bill, no
one has yet been able to sufficiently explain why these symbols are
there, or what they really mean. Solomon's Treasure explains how
the magic of the dollar operates. The creation of money by the
Federal Reserve, and its exponential multiplication by the
procedures of the banking system, is analogous to the creation and
multiplication of gold in the metaphysical practice of alchemy. The
members of the Federal Reserve Board are in many ways like
sorcerers, conjuring wealth seemingly out of thin air and
distributing it at will to transform the American economy according
to their desires. The dollar is "fiat currency," declared into
existence by the central bank in a manner similar to the creation
of the universe by the divine words "Let there be light " This
system depends entirely on a religious faith by the American people
in the supernatural power of the dollar. This faith is reinforced
by the financial terminology currently in use, as well as by
watchwords and symbols found on American money. These act as
magical charms, and also as tokens of communal trust in, and
fidelity to, the dollar as an institution. Every time a person
spends a dollar, or accepts a dollar as payment, they are
confirming their belief in the dollar, and using it to exercise
their spiritual will. Even the familiar dollar ($) sign has an
occult meaning which is linked with these ideas. Solomon's Treasure
reveals the role played by the proto-Masonic Order of Knights
Templar in the development of capitalism and the modern banking
system. Because of their pivotal contributions, numerous modern
financial terms, monetary concepts, and banking practices can be
traced back to the Templars. Perhaps most shocking are the links
between the treasure of King Solomon, purportedly discovered by the
Knights Templar, and America's wealth. In Solomon's Treasure,
author Tracy R. Twyman explains how time-honored esoteric wisdom
principles of wealth creation have been passed down through the
ages: from King Solomon, to the Knights Templar, to the Freemasons,
and ultimately to the architects of the US dollar.
Rene Guenon (1886-1951) was one of the great luminaries of the
twentieth century, whose critique of the modern world has stood
fast against the shifting sands of intellectual fashion. His
extensive writings, now finally available in English, are a
providential treasure-trove for the modern seeker: while pointing
ceaselessly to the perennial wisdom found in past cultures ranging
from the Shamanistic to the Indian and Chinese, the Hellenic and
Judaic, the Christian and Islamic, and including also Alchemy,
Hermeticism, and other esoteric currents, they direct the reader
also to the deepest level of religious praxis, emphasizing the need
for affiliation with a revealed tradition even while acknowledging
the final identity of all spiritual paths as they approach the
summit of spiritual realization. Studies in Freemasonry and the
Compagnonnage is both an attempt to rediscover the lost roots of
Masonry and a fascinating look into the many controversies swirling
around the subject of Masonry in serious intellectual circles
during the first half of the twentieth century. It must also be
classed, along with Symbols of Sacred Science, Spiritual Authority
and Temporal Power, Traditional Forms and Cosmic Cycles, The
Esoterism of Dante, Insights into Christian Esoterism and Insights
into Islamic Esoterism and Taoism-not to mention related sections
in many of his other books-as one of Rene Guenon's masterful
excursions into esoteric myth, symbolism, and secret history.
Freemasonry may indeed be, as Guenon ultimately concluded, a
largely degenerated and thus no longer strictly 'operative'
offshoot of a true initiatory lineage; yet its symbolism, like that
of the original Rosicrucians, remains profound, traditional, and
therefore ultimately legitimate. And given that the 'Spirit bloweth
where it listeth', it is always possible that symbolism of this
order may awaken in a receptive soul intimations of the Truth and
the Way, which can be of inestimable of value in 'the path to the
Path', the quest for a living initiatory spirituality.
The True Masonic Guide containing elucidations of the fundamental
principles of Freemasonry with embellishments and explanations of

Scottish, French, ancient and modern York compiled from the most

The American Fraternity is a mysterious photo and ritual book that
lifts the veil on America's oldest and most influential male
tradition. The text comes from a decaying ritual manual from a
prominent college fraternity. Seventy-five percent of modern U.S.
presidents, senators, justices, and executives have taken arcane
oaths of allegiance like the ones it contains. Six decades of red
ceremonial wax stain it like blood. It is filled with dark power.
Here is Manly P. Hall's classic work on history's most secretive
brotherhood- reset and collected with two additional celebrated
Hall volumes on occult Masonry.
Freemasonry is the subject of perennial fascination-recently the
cover story of a national newsmagazine, the premise of the movie
"National Treasure," and the anticipated basis of a forthcoming
novel by Dan Brown. The twentieth century's great scholar of occult
and esoteric ideas, Manly P. Hall was a Mason himself and nurtured
a lifelong interest in the secret fraternal order, making it the
focus of one of his earliest and best-loved books, "The Lost Keys
of Freemasonry." In this celebrated work, he examines the ethical
training required of a Freemason, and the character traits a Mason
must "build" within himself. Hall's 1923 volume is now reset and
made available exclusively in this new edition, along with the
author's two further classics on Masonry:
- "Freemasonry of the Ancient Egyptians" (1937), which explores
the roots of Freemasonry in the initiatory temple rites of
Pharaonic Egypt; and
- "Masonic Orders of Fraternity" (1950), a fascinating work of
short history that chronicles the reemergence of Freemasonry in
Europe in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. It surveys the
lives of Masonry's modern architects and the secretive
organizations that immediately preceded the brotherhood.
This three-in-one volume features the original illustrations of
each book, for a total of nearly thirty images, including
recreations of scenes and rites from Masonry's unusual history. It
also includes a new index encompassing all three titles.
The United States today is a divided nation and some say the
country may be heading toward breakup, or possibly civil war. That
has happened before and the result was disastrous. As many as
750,000 Americans perished during the Civil War. A study of the
causes of our last Civil War may help to prevent another. The
Knights of the Golden Circle (KGC) played a major role in starting
the Civil War in the United States. Although intended to remain a
secret organization of conspirators, it is perhaps the most
well-documented conspiracy in United States history. The goal of
the KGC was the creation of a new society separate from the United
States dedicated to the preservation and expansion of slavery into
Latin America. The KGC existed in almost every state in the Union,
but nowhere was it as powerful and successful as it was in Texas.
Several governors, many senators and military leaders were members,
having taken an oath to support the organization and their fellow
members. Most of the documents generated by the KGC were destroyed
after the war ended as its members feared execution for treason.
Not everything was destroyed, though. This book relies on documents
created by the organization and its members that have not
previously been used by researchers. Many members of this
organization remained in positions of authority in state affairs
after the abolition of slavery. This book goes far beyond previous
published work in establishing the identities of the members of
this organization who promoted and encouraged the most disastrous
war in American history. Randolph W. Farmer is a native Texan from
a family whose ancestors first came to Texas as early as 1817 when
it was still a Spanish possession. He is the author of two
previously published books on Texas history.
The Muslim Brotherhood in the West remains a mysterious entity. In
The Closed Circle, Lorenzo Vidino offers an unprecedented inside
view into how one of the world's most influential Islamist groups
operates. He marshals unique interviews with prominent former
members and associates from Europe, the United Kingdom, and North
America, shedding light on why and how people join and leave
Western outfits of the Muslim Brotherhood. Drawing on these
striking personal accounts, Vidino weaves together the experiences
of individuals who participated in and later renounced Brotherhood
groups. Their perspectives provide a wealth of new information
about the Brotherhood's secretive inner workings and the networks
that connecting the small yet highly organized cluster of
Brotherhood-influenced groups. The Closed Circle examines the
tactics the Brotherhood uses to recruit and retain participants as
well as how and why individuals make the difficult decision to
leave. Through the stories of diverse former members, Vidino paints
a portrait of a highly structured, tight-knit movement. His
unprecedented access and understanding of the group's activities
and motivations has significant policy implications concerning
Western Brotherhood organizations and also illuminates the
underlying mechanisms found in a range of extremist groups.
