"It has been my privilege to know Franklin Trainer for several
years. He is a man of Christian character and has proven himself
faithful. He takes his responsibilities very seriously while
attempting his very best to live holy and being led by the Spirit.
I would say that he is old fashion in his beliefs, but he simply
just believes the Bible. You will only find him using the King
James Bible in his studies and devotionals. My wife has spent time
with his wife and their home is solid, stable and full of Christian
joy. If you want to read devotionals written by a man that lives
them out daily, please read Provoked." Sincerely, Evangelist Matt
Pringle Ottumwa Baptist Temple Ottumwa, Iowa "Cut from the old
cloth of the patriarchs, Franklin Trainer wastes no time trying to
be good. He knows that he is a sinner and must have God's own
goodness for his own. Franklin is not concerned with simply being
right. Rather, he insists on Christ's righteousness being imputed
to him. This is a man who has been to Bethel, and who has walked
with God and every aspect of his life is fragrant with the aroma of
celestial delights. Now he has erected an altar, and welcomes us
all to worship with him at the feet of the One he adores. Having
wrestled with God for every benediction within, Franklin generously
invites us to enjoy them with him." Pastor Caleb Thompson Austin,
Texas Born and raised in rural Missouri, Franklin grew up
appreciating the value of candor and honesty. Choosing early on to
surround himself with older mentors, his own age and maturity has
now served to solidify the benefit of having learned plain speak
during his formative years. Reared in a crosspatch of
Protestantism, but not saved until the age of 29, has forged a post
salvation passion, and a compelling heart, to reach out to others
who perhaps live in like delusion that all is well with their soul
apart from being "born again" (cf. John 3:3, 5). Working for some
24 years in youth ministry, Franklin takes seriously the admonition
"to teach others also" those eternal truths instilled in him by
"faithful men" gone on before (cf. 2 Timothy 2:2). Franklin teaches
and preaches regularly in chapel and Sunday morning classes as a
staffer at his local church and Christian school; as well as on the
radio in the nearby community. Married, with two grown daughters,
two terrific sons-in-law, and one granddaughter; life in CHRIST is
rich and rewarding indeed. The Trainer's make their home in the
Ozark region of the 'Show Me' state; enjoying country living at its
finest, amidst some of the best climate and scenery found anywhere
under GOD'S Heaven.
Only the few can claim to be the best of all or better than anyone
else in a particular endeavor or accomplishment. But most of the
rest of us can claim significant success within a sphere unique to
each of us-the personality only you in the whole world can claim
and the mix of challenges and opportunities only you are
confronting. To assure your progress in this personal arena, author
John R. Gunn offers clues to your personalized success through 75
of the time-honored Bible Proverbs that encase the wisdom and
practical help that has guided adherents of the world's most
renowned religions over the centuries. "In a time such as ours-one
of massive change, competing claims to truth, and deep
uncertainty-the need for true wisdom becomes urgent. In these
reflections from the Book of Proverbs by John R. Gunn, we encounter
afresh the power of biblical wisdom, a wisdom our culture
desperately needs. Gunn was an articulate and prolific minister
whose insightful and faithful sermons and newspaper columns spoke
confident and wise truths to the first half of the twentieth
century. Now, through this volume, those truths speak powerfully to
a new generation." Thomas G. Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching,
Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta GA. John R.
Gunn's popular syndicated newspaper columns on inspirational themes
appeared for over fifty years in the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette.
His messages also reached listeners over 2,000 radio stations plus
the Armed Forces Radio Network through the broadcast "Be Still and
Know." Other of his books recently published include Those Loving
Feelings: The Song of Solomon for Newlyweds and Under the Gunn:
Inspiration for Preachers. For more resources by and information

Despite the best of intentions, many Christians fail to lead the
type of committed spiritual life that they desire. The pace of life
and cultural pressures drive them to be over-committed. They lack
space and time in their lives to regain their spiritual poise. This
book reviews the historical practice of personal spiritual retreat
and demonstrates that it has as much applicability to the modern
Christian as it has had to countless others over the centuries. Not
only is there historical precedent, but biblical as well. Besides
presenting the theological arguments for experiencing retreat, the
book also gives practical insights into the timing, location, and
activities in which to engage while on a personal spiritual
retreat. There is also a discussion on how to keep the spirit of
retreat alive throughout the year so that ultimately the retreat
benefits not only the individual Christian but also the world in
which they live.
A Desi-American, as Ravi Prakash Dani unravels from his extensive
global experience, is the one finding himself extremely' sensitive
to suffering imposed by seismic change embodying hurricane social,
political and economic forces. Invariably often such a person has
to face the prospect of inflicting upon himself and others
suffering of excessive attraction and aversion in the illusion of
prosperity. Boldly emodying emergent perceptions of
institutionalist orders and suffering in the opportunities to
create it, the author foregrounds ordinary Desi-Americanism'
ultimately signifying today's illusive impressions of
competitiveness' and change'. Unraveling strengths in suffering its

This book is one person's travels through a catalogue of nightmare
experiences. Anyone who has suffered through divorce of any form
knows this one Abuse of various natures are present in this
autobiography. Not so much the cure for, but mostly, the acceptance
of and forgiveness ability. The emotional healing process does call
for the time element, unfortunately However, this book tells about
different aspects of ways and means to this beautiful end. This
book is not for people looking for a quick fix or a way out.
Abstinence from alcohol is a tool which many people have used as a
problem solver. This book is only one person's life under both
chronic inebriation and total abstinence conditions. There are many
adventures where the reader might question the physical influence
under which the author was operating. Even without the alcoholic
consumption by the author, the behavior, when compared to the
behavior of a well adjusted individual are incredibly different
People who have loved or been loved by those who are immediately
involved with alcohol or drugs may gain a deeper understanding of
the total situation. Also, the author hopes that some comfort to
the reader will take place upon the realization that they are not
alone. The greatest gift the author has received from life, is
PEACE ON EARTH.

Readers of 'A Course in Miracles' often can't see the forest for
the words. Deep within the over 1200 pages of the Course, there
lies a clear, consistent fundamental philosophy. In 'It's All
Mind', Edwin Navarro presents that philosophy in simple,
unambiguous language, illuminating the true meaning of the Course.
This book can be an invaluable companion for old and new readers
alike.
DUI is a must-read for all of those who desire to be equipped to
have victory in the war of deception that the Devil has waged
against the saints. One of the grave mistakes that the modern
church has made is that of minimizing the Enemy. He is a formidable
opponent that we within ourselves have no chance of defeating. The
reason why many saints are being defeated by the Enemy is because
the body of Christ is having such a difficult time recognizing the
Devil. The Bible says that he would deceive not just the world, but
even the very elect, if it were at all possible.
DUI exposes how the Enemy uses worship to get believers
intoxicated with the world. This book systematically breaks down
the difference between worship in the Spirit, which cleanses us,
and Babylonian worship, which entertains us. It dissects the
biblical foundations of worship and how the Enemy is attempting to
change those foundations. You may have wondered how you could be a
part of worship experiences that deeply affected you emotionally
although many of the other participants left these experiences yet
dominated by their flesh, spiritually blind, and carnally minded.
This book has the answers It is a must-read for all of those
desiring to worship God in Spirit and truth and be found faithful
when he returns
This book portrays the life of the great King David from a first
person viewpoint. Thus it enables the reader to see the life and
times of King David as though he were on the scene. It paints a
verbal portrait of King David in a "warts and all" way, that is, it
tells of his strengths and weaknesses. Some of the high points in
his life, such as slaying the giant Goliath, his sin of adultery
with the beautiful Bathsheba, fleeing from the army of his
rebellious son Absalom, are vividly portrayed from his own
viewpoint. This book is designed to enable the reader to understand
how King David became known as a "man after God's own heart."
Have you ever craved for a deep personal relationship with God? Do
you question your faith in the Divine Spirit to work in your daily
life? This book takes you on a remarkable modern day journey of
faith with a couple in their quest for a deeper relationship with
God. Brenda and Franklin CampbellJones share how their spirit was
strengthened by following God's guidance on a journey across the
country. Through dreams, signs, messages, and "coincidences," they
come to terms with the forces of doubt, anxiety, and confusion.
They learn to lean on the Divine Presence of the Holy Spirit.
This book will lower your excitement about religion but will
intensify your pursuit to establish the kingdom here on earth. I
never cease to be amazed at how so many who say they are followers
of Jesus Christ can believe that Jesus has stopped forgiving,
healing, and calling leaders into His vineyards when there is so
much to do. This book is here to let everyone know that He (Jesus)
has not returned yet, but His power still generates in those who
have accepted Him as their Lord and savior and are willing to hold
on to the faith. Leadership style does not mean that the agenda is
different. Many leaders today are uncomfortable with the presence
of another approach to ministry. It calls for us to observe that
all the apostles had different styles in approaching situations and
difficulties; yet, the ministry of Jesus was their priority alone.
Leadership, just as everyone else, will have to make adjustments as
long as leading is on the agenda and in process.

For Sara, the loss of her husband, Peter, was unbearable. Soon
after he passed, Peter came to visit, taking her to various places
that only they could go. Her children, refusing to believe that she
was talking to him, assumed that she had dementia. She suffered a
fall, and from that time on never returned to her home.
But while recovering, Sara was able to travel beyond The Veil,
learning beautiful, heartfelt lessons that she was able to bring
back with her and pass on to her children. Peter takes Sara on a
journey both here and to the hereafter. Her life, and those of her
children, is never the same. She finds an abundance of peace and
serenity in a place that is timeless, where unconditional love
creates healing and comfort and where the ravages of dementia
cannot touch her.
Walking among the angels, Sara's desire is for everyone to know
the place, beyond The Veil.
My first book, Jesus Christ Is My God, explained that in this
world, we are not alone; somebody said, "Your families will abandon
you, your husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend will forsake
you, but Jesus Christ will never let you go. Even on a hospital
bed, he will be there with you." My second book, Spiritual
Development, is about how you can develop both spiritually and
physically. The book discusses all sixteen chapters of the book of
Romans, especially as it connects to your life today. The book also
discusses the book of Philemon. Those two books analyse biblical
passages from Jewish and Christian versions of the holy book. I
have a keen eye for etymology and offer finely detailed
explanations of many of the original Hebrew and Greek terms in the
Bible. This book, Christian Philosophy: Understanding Racial
Oppression, discusses Christian philosophy and the ideology of
colonisation. This book discusses many Christian issues, including
creation and how this world functions. I think this book can tell
you many top secrets. This book was written with my understanding
of Christian philosophy in this modern time. The book does not
reveal private secrets but exposes some things that need to be
found; this is an idea of archeology without physical digging.
We have all asked the questions, Where is God when tragedy
strikes? Where is God when life seems painful? God, why did you let
this happen?
What would happen if we stop blaming God and actually start
trusting Him during difficult times? Could you imagine what God's
power can do in your life? Through our storms, we come to realize
we have a God who is there for us every step of the way. We have a
God who wants to guide us through the treacherous waters of life.
As long as we trust Him, He will never let us be lost at sea.
