The Saturn Return Survival Guide is the perfect companion for those seeking astrology guidance as they enter this turbulent time. Every 27 to 29 years, Saturn returns to the sign it was in when you were born – a cycle called the Saturn return. During this phase, you will typically break down in order to rebuild, and question everything from your career to the past to relationships and even finances. It’s a time of deep reflection, turmoil and self-doubt. But after Saturn passes into a new sign, you will also experience great clarity and calm as you enter into a new chapter of your life. Understanding this cosmic rite of passage can help you to advance into your next stage of adulthood and the Saturn Return Survival Guide is the definitive guide to navigating this turbulent time. We break down the basics for each star sign and offer meditations and manifestations to help you through (using crystals, candles, and bath magic). Fun and easy to read, the Saturn Return Survival Guide is full of astrological truths for the believers as well as novices searching for meaning. Written by Lisa Stardust of the Instagram handle @liststardustastro. Complete with modern vintage full-colour illustrations by London based artist, Emmy Lupin (@emmylupin).

It is the only place where all sign, planetary and house rulerships have been brought together and put in a good workable order. It is organized in such a way that one can use the book for quick and easy reference, and it eliminates the need to search through various other volumes. In four parts: an alphabetical listing, a listing by planets, a listing by signs, a listing by houses. Plus an Appendix with special listings: principal bones of the body, principal veins of the body, chart of an organization, flavors and handwriting forms. Enthusiastically endorsed and used by professionals and students alike, no reference library is complete without this best-selling volume.

The New American Ephemeris for the 21st Century 2000-2100 at Midnight, Michelsen Memorial Edition Compiled and Programmed by Rique Pottenger, based on the earlier work of Neil F Michelsen Memorial text and Introduction compiled and written by Maria Kay Simms In 1976, Neil F Michelsen (1931-1990) compiled, programmed and published the first edition of The American Ephemeris that set new standards of accuracy for contemporary astrology. In 2006, celebrating the 30th anniversary of first publication of the first volume of work that grew to become Michelsen's comprehensive American Ephemeris series, Rique Pottenger continued the work that Neil began. Within The New American Ephemeris for the 21st Century 2000-2100 at Midnight is the familiar data and format long used and trusted by astrologers worldwide, now updated and expanded, with new features. This ephemeris is unique among others in the series for its memorial text section that documents, partially from excerpts from Michelsen's own writing, and partially from testimonials of colleagues, a history of the development of computer technology for astrology. Features of this entire 21st century edition include improvements in the computer generating program that enable finding double ingresses in a single day plus more accurate station times. Ceres, the asteroid that was elevated to planetary status by the IAU (International Astronomical Union) in 2006, has been added to the daily longitude listings in her position between Mars and Jupiter. The new planet Eris, whose discovery precipitated the IAU decisions of 2006, moves, at most, about 3 minutes per month, so her position is listed once per month in the Astro Data box, along with monthly positions for Chiron, Pallas, Juno and Vesta. A new formula increases the accuracy of monthly positions of the Galactic Center. Phenomena listed in the Astro Data column are sorted by time as well as by date. Also, the planetary ingress data includes R if the planet is retrograde when it ingresses.

This is the revised edition of one of the most important astrological books of our time. It not only reshapes the view of astrology that astrologers might have; it challenges the entire notion of what constitutes knowing and knowledge in our civilisation. It shows that astrology is not only important in and of itself, but also for what it reveals about the nature of truth and our experience in general. (Robert Hand).
This classic, which has sold over 600,000 copies to date, offers a guide to astrological history, legend, and practice. This book is now fully revised, updated, and translated for the first time into Spanish. Its simple computer-accurate planetary tables allow anyone born between 1900 and 2100 to pinpoint quickly their sun and moon signs, discover their ascendants, and map out the exact positions of the planets at the time of their birth.

Mainstream science has long dismissed astrology as a form of primitive superstition, despite or perhaps even because of its huge popular interest. From daily horoscopes to in-depth and personalized star forecasts, astrology, for many, plays a crucial role in the organization of everyday life. Present-day scholars and scientists remain baffled as to why this pseudo-science exercises such control over supposedly modern, rational and enlightened individuals, yet so far they have failed to produce any meaningful analysis of why it impacts on so many lives and what lies behind its popular appeal. Moving beyond scientific scepticism, Astrology, Science and Culture finally fills the gap by probing deeply into the meaning and importance of this extraordinary belief system. From the dawn of pre-history, humankind has had an intimate connection with the stars. With its roots in the Neolithic culture of Europe and the Middle East, astrology was traditionally heralded as a divinatory language. Willis and Curry argue that, contrary to contemporary understanding including that of most astrologers astrology was originally, and remains, a divinatory practice. Tackling its rich and controversial history, its problematic relationship to Jungian theory, and attempts to prove its grounding in objective reality, this book not only persuasively demonstrates that astrology is far more than a superstitious relic of years gone by, but that it enables a fundamental critique of the scientism of its opponents. Groundbreaking in its reconciliation of astrologys ancient traditions and its modern day usage, this book impressively unites philosophy, science, anthropology, and history, to produce a powerful exploration of astrology, past and present.

Your birth chart is a snapshot of the sky taken at the moment and place of your birth, one that reflects your character, personality, strengths, and challenges. But the moment after that picture was taken, the planets moved on--some quickly, some very slowly. Astrologers call the moving planets "transits," and by comparing their movements to your birth chart you can gain a complete view of how best to prepare for challenges, meet opportunities, and stay grounded in a constantly-changing world. In Astrological Transits, astrologer April Elliott Kent will guide you through the best ways to make the most of your birth chart. Learn how to make the most of good transits and harness and transform the energy of "bad" ones. You'll also understand planetary cycles and anticipate your own transits. Finally, you'll know how to read planetary return charts, work with planetary retrogrades, and use eclipses to recognize major patterns and turning points in your life. If you are comfortable reading a birth chart, you are ready to move your chart into the future using transits. Instructions, tables, and worksheets will make tracking your transit cycles simple and exciting!
