American re-imagining of the 2010 Mexican horror film of the same name. The reclusive Parker family headed by ailing patriarch Frank (Bill Sage) have a dark and macabre family secret. While grieving for their mother, Iris (Ambyr Childers) and Rose (Julia Garner) are left to care for their father and younger brother Rory (Jack Gore) as well as take responsibility for attending to their horrific familial custom. As a storm hits the small town where the family live, a number of gruesome discoveries by the local authorities lead them to the door of the Parkers and ever closer to the ancestral secret they work so hard to maintain.
Laurel Vail and Don Barclay star in this horror thriller directed and written by Brian Netto. Rachel (Vail) and Kyle Massy (Barclay) are a young couple expecting their first baby. When they are approached by a television company that wants them to document the details of their pregnancy for a reality show, the happy couple decide to embrace the idea. As the pregnancy progresses however, Kyle begins to notice Rachel's behaviour changing as she starts to believe that a malevolent spirit has possessed her unborn child.
Rose McGowan stars in director Victor Salva's horror thriller about a woman terrorised by a local paperboy. When radio talk show psychiatrist Sonny Blake (McGowan) moves back to her home town after her alcoholic father dies, she discovers that the locals live in fear of the local paperboy, Derek Barber (Daniel Ross Owens). At first finding it hard to believe, Sonny's views quickly change when she's confronted by the boy, a devious sociopath who targeted her father, and may have been responsible for his death. The situation rapidly deteriorates, however, when the boy starts calling her on air, heralding a darker chapter in which she finds herself desperately fighting for her life in an all-out war for survival.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett direct this horror in which unexpected events surrounding a woman's pregnancy raise terrifying questions. Zach and Sam McCall (Zach Gilford and Stephanie Grote) are a young couple enjoying their life as newlyweds when they receive the news that Sam is pregnant. Though the pregnancy was unplanned, the couple decide to keep the baby and become excited as they imagine a future as parents. However, Sam's increasingly erratic behaviour is a source of concern. Strange visitations and encounters with the occult unsettle the couple and they begin to believe that the baby may somehow be at the root of their problems...
Bestiality, battered babies and bucket loads of bodily fluids are the order of the day in this gross-out comedy horror sequel. The flesh-hungry monsters are on the rampage once again, this time in a neighbouring town, and the locals must join forces with the survivors from the first film to figure out how they can possibly survive their indiscriminately vicious onslaught.
Three office workers find themselves trapped by a sadistic psychopath in this horror from director David Brooks. Offering a ride home to his co-worker and love interest, Emily (Alice Eve), after their late night Christmas party, David (Brian Geraghty) feels obliged to help out when another employee, Corey (Josh Peck), asks for a lift to the nearest cash dispenser. But after entering the stand-alone unit, the three soon realise that they are being watched by a threatening hooded figure lurking in the car park. Trapped inside the booth, with their phones left in the car and panic setting in, they are horrified when the figure savagely murders a passing dog walker, setting in motion a terrifying game of cat and mouse.
Horror following a young man as he uncovers some horrifying secrets about his past. Johnny Petrie (Jesse James) finds out that he was adopted when, on his 18th birthday, he inherits an old, abandoned farmhouse that belonged to his biological family. Hoping for a fresh start, he decides to move to the farm. While there, however, he begins to discover some unsettling truths about his real family who were killed by his father in a religious ritual.
Adrián García Bogliano directs this horror starring Nick Damici and Ethan Embry. When Will (Embry), son of blind, retired vet Ambrose (Damici), decides that his dad can no longer live on his own, he moves him in to a retirement village where he can be monitored closely. As several of his new friends die, brutally torn to shreds by a vicious dog that is known to roam the streets at night, Ambrose becomes obsessed with the killings when he discovers that this has been happening for years. Disbelieving the locals' stories that these are just dog attacks, Ambrose, determined to stop the animal once and for all, stages an intervention to try to capture the culprit.
Horror sequel. After a high school senior, Wendy Christensen (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), has a fatal premonition of a disastrous roller-coaster accident that involves her and her friends, she warns everyone and luckily gets herself and many of her friends off the roller-coaster before it sets off. When the roller-coaster sets off, it crashes, just like in her premonition. But the unseen forces of darkness once again set out to kill the survivors that were supposed to die in the freak accident.
A trilogy of spine-chillers from Sam Raimi. 'Evil Dead' (1980) is Raimi's low-budget gore-fest about a group of American teenage yuppies on holiday in a remote cabin in the Tennessee mountains. They discover an old book which, once they have read it, summons up all kinds of horrors: the trees come alive and so do the dead, who take over the bodies of the living. In 'Evil Dead 2' (1987) a young couple chance upon the same remote Tennessee cabin as in the original, unleashing the forces of evil with horrific consequences for themselves and their friends. The only survivor, Ash (Bruce Campbell, who also starred in the first film), deranged after having to dismember his possessed, dead girlfriend, fights back with a chainsaw. Whilst 'Army of Darkness - The Medieval Dead' (1992) is the third in the series. Ash (Campbell) and his chainsaw are transported back in time to the 14th century via an evil book. In his attempts to return to the present he has to battle skeletons and Dark Age warriors, as well as romancing a medieval damsel.
Triple bill of the vampire horror film series. In 'The Lost Boys' (1987), two brothers move to a new town and soon fall in with the wrong crowd - a gang of punks who also happen to be blood-swilling vampires. The older brother (Jason Patric) proves easy prey and is soon a fully paid-up member of the undead. But the younger brother (Corey Haim) is made of tougher stuff and, along with a couple of friends, decides to make a stand. Pretty soon the suburbs start swinging to the sound of teen vampire combat. In 'The Lost Boys - The Tribe' (2008), a young girl named Nicole (Autumn Reeser) falls in with a pack of vampire surfers after moving to California with her brother Chris (Tad Hilgenbrink). Seduced by the leader of the gang, Autumn soon realises that there are forces in nature that could destroy everything she has ever cared for. 'The Lost Boys - The Thirst' (2010), sees Corey Feldman reprise his role as Edgar Frog, a down and out vampire hunter who is asked by writer Gwen Lieber (Tanit Phoenix) to rescue her son from a newborn army. Gwen offers to pay Edgar a substantial fee for his services and he agrees to take on the dangerous mission. Realising the risks involved, Edgar asks his brother, Alan (Jamison Newlander), to assist him.
Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Hilker star in this horror romance directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. After the tragic death of his mother, American Evan (Pucci) decides to put his mundane life on hold and board the first plane to Europe in search of adventure. As he finds himself in Italy, Evan makes friends with two British drunks and quickly sees himself spiralling down the same path he wanted to get away from. As he prepares to head home, Evan meets a mysterious woman by the name of Louise (Hilker) and, becoming besotted with her charm, decides to stay. At first, the chemistry between the two is undeniable but will Louise's dark secret, once revealed, stand in the way of true love?
