Let your child cuddle up with the curious little bear Clever Cub who
loves to read the Bible and learn about God. In Clever Cub and the
Easter Surprise, Papa and Mama Bear tell Clever Cub the exciting story
of Easter morning when Jesus Christ rose from the dead and gave us the
best surprise of all!
This engaging picture book is perfect for children aged 3-6, teaching
them about Jesus’ resurrection. It also includes questions about the
story’s theme and ideas for learning more about the true meaning of
Easter in the Bible.
Sharing with others often does not come naturally to little ones. Help
your child to understand that sharing is caring and can actually be
quite fun.
In Clever Cub Learns to Share, Clever Cub does not want to share with
Skippy the Squirrel. That is until Papa Bear tells him about a boy in
the Bible who shared his small lunch of five loaves and two small fish
with Jesus (John 6:1-14). Jesus then used that small lunch to feed
5,000 people!
This engaging picture book is perfect for children aged 3-6, teaching
them how wonderful it is to share with others. It also includes
questions about the story’s theme and ideas for learning more about it
in the Bible.
Jesus Loves Me … and Other Things the Bible says about Me
In a world that is confusing, unstable and ever-changing, it is
important for children to know who they are in Christ. Understanding
their identity as a child of God will give them stability, confidence
and certainty in an uncertain world. While coloring the 44 delightfully
designed affirmation cards, children will learn that they are loved,
forgiven, saved, chosen and able to do all things through their Savior
Jesus Christ. Each biblically-based affirmation is supported by a
Scripture verse and has a cute line-art illustration to color.
• 44 coloring cards in a sturdy lidded box.
• Each card has a biblically-based affirmation to color and a
supporting Scripture verse.
• Cards are blank on the back offering extra space to reflect on the
affirmation and to make notes.
• Thick cardstock so any medium can be used.

We've worked with teachers to develop versions of our core
textbooks that feature reduced content and language level,
providing greater support and enabling students of all abilities to
progress. Now available for the seven most popular options, these
foundation versions help make the GCSE content more accessible and
are designed to be easy-to-use alongside the core textbooks in a
mixed ability classroom and are also ideal for home learning. How
have we made them more accessible? We've reduced the level of the
language to remove difficult words or phrases when possible. All
the titles have been reviewed for reading age by a language expert.
Easy-to-use alongside the core GCSE textbooks with content covered
on each spread matched so you can use both versions together in a
mixed ability classroom. More of the difficult words that students
need to know are explained in key terms boxes, with definitions
repeated through the books to reinforce learning. We've made our
explanations more accessible for students targeting a grade 5 or
below. Where possible, we've replaced paragraphs of text with
easy-to-understand flow diagrams, mind maps or charts so there is
significantly less text on the pages for students to tackle. The
level of demand in the activities has been reduced and some of the
harder ones removed. Exam tips have been re-focused to offer advice
so that students of all abilities can secure as many marks as
possible. The 'Preparing for your exam' chapters have been
thoroughly rewritten with answers and commentary for students
working towards a grade 5. New artworks have been added to make
explanations more visual.

In this book from the highly acclaimed Little People, BIG DREAMS
series, discover the incredible life of Florence Nightingale, the
founder of modern nursing. Growing up in an upper-class family, it
was expected that Florence would find a husband and live a life of
luxury - but that kind of life wasn't for her. Her calling was
caring for the sick and the poor, so she followed her passion with
her whole heart and trained to be a nurse. When war broke out,
Florence travelled to nurse wounded soldiers but found that the
hospitals were so dirty that they were making people ill! This
experience inspired her to lead a healthcare revolution, and she
became the mother of modern nursing, introducing care practices
still followed today. This inspiring book features stylish and
quirky illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a
biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile
of the social reformer's life. Little People, BIG DREAMS is a
bestselling series of books and educational games that explore the
lives of outstanding people, from designers and artists to
scientists and activists. All of them achieved incredible things,
yet each began life as a child with a dream. This empowering series
offers inspiring messages to children of all ages, in a range of
formats. The board books are told in simple sentences, perfect for
reading aloud to babies and toddlers. The hardback versions present
expanded stories for beginning readers. Boxed gift sets allow you
to collect a selection of the books by theme. Paper dolls, learning
cards, matching games and other fun learning tools provide even
more ways to make the lives of these role models accessible to
children.
