A medium, 1000 grit multiform synthetic waterstone from Japan. On one edge the curved radius changes from 13mm to 3mm over its length. The opposite edge is tapered at an angle of about 40° making it ideal for sharpening the inside of V tools. The overall design allows the sharpening of a wide variety of tools from flat and wide to small narrow gouges and all V tools.

The 1000 grit can be described as a medium stone and is used to sharpen to an almost perfect cutting edge. The 4000 grit or fine stone is used for the final hone and polish and will leave the tool ready for use. Before use the stones will need to be soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes. After use the stones are best air dried and wrapped in a soft cloth for storage.

Lino cutting is a relief printmaking process. The desired design is cut in reverse into the surface of the block with lino cutting tools. Once this process is complete, ink is applied to the raised (that is, uncut) areas of the block using a roller/brayer. The design can then be printed in a press or burnished by hand. This Lino Cutting set includes four Flexcut blades of different shapes and an interchangeable handle. This is a rigid polyproylene. easy-clean tray which is 240mm x 200mm and is 16mm deep. It comes complete with a hanger for convient storage or drying at home. It can be used with rollers up to 200m wide. It is ideal for mixing paint, PVA and rolling out ink before applying to lino. Because of its smooth surface it will allow fuller coverage of ink on the roller before it is applied to a surface.
