Tamiya is delighted to introduce the latest model in our long-running 1/12 Motorcycle Series, which depicts
the Ninja H2 Carbon. The bike is a top spec model in the Ninja H2 range (road-going cousins of the H2R
circuit bike depicted in our Item 14131) available from 2017, with exclusive carbon fiber upper cowl, enhanced
205hp engine, Öhlins rear shock unit, and other upgrades to the extensive electronic driver aids. It truly is a
mouthwatering prospect for fans of seriously powerful motorcycles, and is set to gain even more street cred with
a rumored appearance in next year's Top Gun 2 movie.
About the Model
• This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 174mm, width: 76mm, height: 96mm.
• Features one each of new black, clear and metal-plated parts sprues.
• The model depicts a 2018 spec version of the roadgoing Ninja H2 Carbon with superb accuracy: turn
signals, larger silencer, rear license plate, side mirrors, and altered designs for the upper cowl, headlights,
windscreeen and more are all faithfully rendered.
• A dedicated sticker sheet includes carbon fiber pattern pieces to adorn the upper cowl.
• Liquid-cooled inline-4 engine and supercharger are depicted in fine detail.
• Accurate recreations of the aggressive road bike spec cowl lines capture the essence of the bike in style.
• Cowls, engine and swing arm are attached using minute screws.
• Metal-plated parts recreate exhaust, muffler and catalytic converter.
• Metal transfers are included for the Kawasaki river mark emblem.
• Masking stickers are included to help with the paint job on the two-tone fuel tank.

Tamiya Panel Line enamel paints are ideal for highlighting panel lines and other details to give your model a more realistic depth. The paint has been pre-diluted into the ideal viscosity and can be easily applied into crevasses such as panel lines with the brush on the bottle cap. Once dried, any excess may be cleaned up by using enamel thinner. (Bottle contains 40ml)

Examples of use:
Black is a general-purpose color and can be used for any type of model. Brown is great for military models as well as highlighting details on bright colors such as Yellow or Orange. Gray is perfect for White or Light Gray parts where Black may be too distinct.

Note:
Plastic parts may become brittle when using Tamiya Panel Line accent colors. Avoid using on movable parts and take care when applying to load-bearing areas. Apply over base coat of lacquer or acrylic paint. Accent Color paints may damage underlying base coat. Test before applying it onto the model. Take care when applying on flat base coat colors as Accent Color paints may permeate more readily.

Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing. These paints can be used on styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly, and can be blended easily. Prior to curing, paint can be washed away with plain water.

When airbrushing make sure to use any of the following Tamiya thinners: 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077.

X designated colours have a glossy finish while XF designated colours are flat finish.
The paint can be thinned for airbrushing using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner.
The paint can be also thinned for airbrushing using Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Using Tamiya Lacquer Thinner will yield faster drying results and a harder finish.
For better paint brushing results use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) for a smoother brushstroke free finish.

The C-130 is by far the most widely used tactical cargo plane of the

last forty years. Notwithstanding its age no real replacement has been

built so far. Therefore the four-engine Loockheed Aircraft continues to

serve in many different functions with more than fifty Air Forces

around the world. Continuous up- dating of its electronic equipment and

in some cases stuctural changes of the fuselage are extending the life

span of this most successful military cargo aircraft. Its

When building a scale model, cotton swabs are often used with painting and applying decals. However, cotton swabs bought from supermarkets usually have loosely spun tips and quickly lose shape. These Craft Cotton Swabs have tightly spun cotton tips and are easy to use, making them much better suited for hobby use.
