The Hahnemühle Lana Colour range is a 45% cotton rag paper which is textured on one side and smooth on the other. The 160gsm weight paper contains 45% cotton which will allow for extra scraping and rubbing back, making it a durable surface to create your pastel paintings on. This popular paper is available in an excellent mix of soft muted tones and greys, with a number of bright colours too. The surface is acid-free (except for black) and is often used in papercutting and layered techniques. It is also suitable for oil and soft pastels, pencil, chalk, charcoal, felt tip, ink and gouache. Please note: the minimum order quantity for the paper in this range is 5 sheets.
High quality drawing paper from Fabriano. 160g/m2, high rag content, acid-free, pH neutral and with high archival permanence. 36 lightfast colours. Grainy, rough paper which is neutrally sized. Very good pigment uptake and therefore best suited to soft and oil pastel but also for pencil, grey and brown chalk, gouache and acrylic.
This high tooth texture pastel card is made from a thin layer of finely ground vegetable fibres (fine cork particles) which gives a velvety grain surface and decreases the need for fixative. Acid-free and lightfast. With glassine interleaving to protect the sheets. Not for use with water-based mediums.
Mi-Teintes is a paper with a ‘vellum’ texture on the top side and a flat surface on the reverse. Both sides of the paper (textured and flat) are suitable for pastel, oil pastel, chalk, pencil, watercolour, and acrylic. Mi-Teintes paper is best suited to pastel paintings and tonal dry media drawings. The paper is a heavy 98 lb (160 gsm).

Pastelmat is a premium 360 gsm card surface with a unique velvety texture made from a fine coating of cellulose fibres, which has the ability to grab and hold multiple layers of even the softest pastels.Pastelmat significantly reduces the need for fixative so that colors remain vibrant. It has the added bonus of being gentle on both fingers and blending tools. Though it was designed for pastellists, Pastelmat is suitable for all dry media, from pastel sticks and pencils to charcoal. It is also water resistant which means that it can be used with wet media such as acrylics or watercolour. Comes in a range of colours, all of which are acid free and lightfast.This is a pack of five sheets measuring 24x32cm. The sheets are of the colour Brown.Please note: PastelMat are sometimes subject to some small spotting and discolouration. This is to be expected due to the manufacturing process. The small talc spots can simply be removed with a stiff brush or a craft knife.

This gives the surface a velvety feel which has sufficient tooth to hold soft pastel, as well as oil pastel, charcoal or soft pencils.Because Velour can hold a lot of pastel, it is perfect for painterly pastel artists who create works with soft edges.This is a single sheet of Hahnemuhle Velour, measuring 50x70cm in the colour Sand.

Ingres is a type of paper named after the Neoclassical French painter Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. Its unique texture is formed on a cylinder mould machine by pressing the paper fibres between the cylinder mesh and the marking felt. This surface texture is known as a chain and laid line surface. Daler-Rowney’s Ingres paper provides excellent tooth for traditional pastel work. Clairefontaine Ingres is a laid paper, which means that the surface of each sheet has a faintly ribbed texture, perfect for holding graphite and soft pastel colour. This surface is characteristic of the traditional hand-made papers of the pre-Industrial age, which were formed in sieve-like moulds of wire mesh which left impressions on the surface of the paper.This sheet is made of cotton and is naturally acid-free.
