Schmincke Retarder medium is a ready to use retarder for lino print. The medium is ready to use and should be used undiluted. To be used in mixtures with Schmincke lino print colors. The mixing ratio medium to lino print color should be at least 1 part medium to 1 part lino print color. The effect rises with the amount of medium.
Mix 1:1 with Schmincke Aqua-Linoprint Colors to slow down the drying time. As a result of this, it is useful when completing large editions of prints. It also makes creative effects possible by giving the Aqua color similar drying times to those of oil-based inks.
Handling:
Lino retarder is ready to use and should be used undiluted

Lascaux Plate-backing resist has been specially designed as part of the acrylic-resist etching system. This new generation acid resist is painted onto the back and the edges of etching plates to protect the metal from the action of the mordant. Lascaux Plate-backing resist is water-soluble, ready to use, non-toxic and suitable for use on copper, brass, zinc, steel and aluminium. This red coloured resist is highly acid-resistant, durable and scratch-resistant. It may be used on unbitten or previously etched (e.g. aquatint, deep open bite) and is compatible with the other Lascaux resists and photopolymer resists such as Photec. The resist may also be used to create a variety of effects on collagraph plates
Speedball Professional Relief Inks are lightfast and archival
oil-based printmaking inks which can be washed up with just soap
and water. These inks are designed for all types of relief
printing, especially linocut and woodcut.This is an 8oz (236.5ml)
tin of Phthalo Green (PG7, Speedball Lightfastness rating I). It is
suitable for mixing with any of the Speedball Professional Relief
Ink colours. To increase the transparency of this ink, add
Speedball Professional Relief Transparent Base. The ink can be
stiffened with talc or magnesium carbonate, and thinned with water.
Because the ink can be thinned with water, it is preferable to
print onto dry paper.
Burnishers are used to flatten a section of a metal plate in order
to remove engraved or etched patterns and lines. This 'erases' the
marks on this area. This ball-burnisher is designed to be used for
detailed work. If you wish to flatten an extensive area, you would
be better off using a straight burnisher.This tool is made of high
carbon tool steel and is manufactured by EC Lyons.

This Screen Holder is adjustable in height and can be fixed in
position using a locking system. The holder applies a safe pressure
to the screen to hold it in place. The table and screen clamps are
also adjustable to allow for different widths of screens and work
surfaces.
