Losses are a normal part of life, even in the lives of children. To help children learn how to cope with those losses, travel with Martha and Bubby the Rabbit as they take children on a journey of healing. They make stops at: - What Does Loss Mean - Facts About Losses - What Does Grieve Mean - Recognizing Feelings - Expressing Feelings - Forgiving Others - Asking Others to Forgive You - Accepting Losses Martha and Bubby are joined by their friends, Zach, Hadley, Hannah, Crystal, and Heather. The gang shares their stories of the death of a loved one, being bullied, making a move, the loss of a pet, and divorce. Martha, Bubby, and the kids traveling with them want to remind other boys and girls that you can continue to be happy after a loss. "I am pleased to recommend this resource as an easy-to-use guide for those parents, grandparents, children's church leaders, or others who desire to help, but who may have felt powerless or unsure as to how to do so." --Virginia G. Johnson, licensed professional counselor
There are many books and published articles on the subject of problem people in churches. They define and diagnose the issue, but information on how to deal with it seems miniscule. In this book you will find a remedial approach that offers not only practical ways to deal with betrayal from church people but emotional healing from its sting as well. "Beguiled by Brothers may simply be the seminal work on the subject of betrayal ever written for the church. Its waters will refresh and heal the betrayed. Drink deep of them and find biblical understanding, biblical answers, practical application, and the comfort of God's sovereignty. -Bob Jones III, Chancellor, Bob Jones University

God uses people daily to communicate His fragrance and message to us. Too often we don't check to see what aroma or impression we are leaving for others to see, hear, or smell. After visiting someone's home or before checking out of a motel, or when moving, we double check to make sure we haven't left anything behind. Even criminals check to make sure they haven't left any clues at the crime scene to identify them. A story reminded me of this. A robber thought he had committed the perfect crime. He assumed he left no clues behind. But he didn't count on someone remembering how he smelled. The smell he left behind was what helped convict him. Yes, we leave something everywhere we go. Stuart Holden reminded a young man moving from a boarding house of this fact when the young man said, he was just double checking to make sure he wasn't leaving anything behind. "There's one thing you will leave behind, young man, your influence."

Find truth and strength from God's Word as Alison helps the reader navigate through the minefield of depression. Her desire is to help suffering Christians and their families find hope in the darkness and to enlighten the Church to this very real and devastating illness--a hidden battleground where the enemy is defeating our brothers and sisters. Get ready to discover what most suffering Christians are desperately trying to hide: the secret world of physical depression in the Church.
Sacred Dreams & Life Limiting Illness is about friendship. It is about soul-friendship and the writer's two decade experience as an Anam Cara (soul friend), Chaplain and Pastoral Counselor to persons with life-limiting illnesses. Many people living with a life-limiting illness report dream intensification and acceleration as their medical condition progresses. This book examines the psychological and spiritual significance of end-of-life dreams and how these dreams can be transformative to those searching for meaning and psychospiritual-healing in the midst of a terminal illness. The book also investigates the therapeutic value of dream therapy as a method that helps persons more effectively interface and process the existential and psychospiritual distress that accompanies life-limiting illness. Finally, this work explores through case studies how dreams can connect patients and clients to an authentic experience of the Divine and the Holy.

The Qur' n is that Single Heavenly Message that underwent so many
passages through the evolution of mankind under the Guidance of All
h, the Lord of the universe to appear as the chosen, simplified and
perfected code of conduct in the hands of Muhammad Ras lull h.
Examining its Sciences convinces one of its Miraculous Nature, its
conformity and confirmation of the Torah. It explains avidly that
man has the faculty of discrimination, as a result of his ability
to develop, grow, progress and to direct independently his own way
of living. The base of this is in the 'Knowledge' the Lord of the
universe taught him. Harmony and Peace are comprehensive terms
enveloping all that man needs for his survival in this world. The
objective of examining the Sciences of the holy Qur' n is to find a
safe passage and a way of living, in perfect harmony and peace,
between mankind, his environment and his Creator. Secondly it
enables one to understand and realize what will happen to one if he
dies. Those reading the Scriptures have come across the Promise of
All h for reward and punishment in this earthly world and in the
Hereafter. The holy Qur' n, the last of such Scriptures teaches the
same. All h summed up this in the holy Qur' n 53:38-41, "That no
burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of
another. And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or
bad). And that his deeds will be seen. The he will be recompensed
with a full and the best recompense."
This is a little book of big truths. It covers several different subjects you may be facing today, in a direct, no nonsense manner. Time is short and you are busy and you are looking for answers not frills. If you seek truth, you'll appreciate this little book. |
