Nicolas Philibert is one of the world's leading documentary makers and is the winner of a BAFTA and a Cesar. The protagonists in this documentary are the patients and staff at the La Borde psychiatric clinic in France. Each summer they perform a play on a stage set in the grounds of La Borde. The film charts the rehearsals for the play and allows the viewer a glimpse at life in one the world's most highly regarded psychiatric institutions.

Docu-drama about the expedition that led mountaineers Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary up Mount Everest. As part of the British team led by Brigadier John Hunt, Norgay and Hillary quashed pessimistic thoughts of the undefeatable mountain by making it to the summit on 29th May 1953 and becoming the first British mountaineering team to conquer the formidable peak.
Concluding part of the documentary series looking at the course of the First World War. This volume examines the events of 1918, the last year of the war, when Germany was on the verge of starvation following the successful British naval blockade of the North Sea ports. Gambling everything on a final knockout blow, the German army launched a series of lightning-fast attacks on the Western Front that were initially successful but that lacked the supplies needed to keep them going. When the Allies successfully counter-attacked it saw an end to the static warfare of the previous three years, and a return to the mobile warfare of 1914. By the 11th of November, the Germans were defeated and preparations were in place for the Peace Conference at Versailles.
