Set three decades after the plot of 'The Karate Kid', the series follows Johnny Lawrence as he opens the Cobra Kai dojo in an attempt to atone for his past. When his former rival Daniel LaRusso returns, struggling to cope on his own after the death of his mentor, he takes in Johnny's estranged son Robby in the hopes of passing on the teachings of his late friend. In this season, Miyagi-Do, Eagle Fang and Cobra Kai are training for the All-Valley Karate Tournament but personal disagreements get in the way.

The Doctor discovers that the meteor shower was in fact the first wave of an invasion by hostile alien intelligence the Nestene; phase two begins when the Autons - deadly plastic mannequins created by the Nestene agents on Earth - launch an attack on the unsuspecting public.

Still chafing at his exile to the planet Earth, the Doctor (Jon Pertwee) is called in to observe the Inferno drilling experiment of Professor Stahlman (Olaf Pooley). Stahlman's search for a new form of energy goes horribly wrong when a green slime emitted from the drill site transforms any who come into contact with it into primeval monsters. Meanwhile, after experimenting with the TARDIS console, the Doctor finds himself transported sideways in time to a parallel version of the Earth, where the Brigadier (Nicholas Courtney) is an eyepatch-wearing fascist and Stahlman's experiments threaten to destroy the world.

Ken Loach's television play, made for the BBC's Wednesday Play series, is probably the most famous British television play ever, watched by a quarter of the population both on its first broadcast in November 1966 and on its repeat in January 1967. Carol White stars as the bright young bride Cathy, who is driven to despair by the social and economic forces pitted against her as she struggles to keep her children in a housing system that is constantly working against her. Loach used voice-overs of actual people caught up in the system and managed to get the unfairness of the system into the debating arena at the time.

It turns out the children have come to warn Stephen that Abney is not all that he seems. In 'The Ash Tree' (1975) Sir Richard Fell (Edward Petherbridge) inherits his uncle's manor and grounds. He moves in and decides to cut down an ash tree that could prove harmful to the property but before he gets the chance he begins to hear strange sounds and sees supernatural figures coming from the tree... In 'The Treasure of Abbot Thomas' (1974) cynical Reverend Somerton (Michael Bryant) is completely close-minded when it comes to paranormal activity. His steadfast beliefs falter, however, when his and Lord Peter Dattering (Paul Lavers)'s search for the treasure of alchemist Abbot Thomas (John Herrington) unleashes a terrifying spectre.
Double bill of BBC adaptations of M.R. James's ghost story 'Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad', written in 1904. In 'Whistle and I'll Come to You' (1968) Michael Hordern plays Professor Parkin who heads to a hotel on the east coast of England where he comes across a bone whistle while out on a walk. He takes it back to the hotel with him but that night hears strange noises in his room and, despite his dismissal of the supernatural, he is soon faced with more mysterious goings-on. In 'Whistle and I'll Come to You' (2010) John Hurt stars as James Parkin who, in this version, is a retired astronomer taking a much needed break from caring for his ailing wife. After finding a ring while wandering through the coastal resort he finds himself experiencing increasingly frightening and seemingly paranormal activity.
