Brian Donlevy, Richard Davalos and Sid Haig star in this 1960s action drama about figure-eight track racing from writer/director Jack Hill. Following his arrest, drag racer Rick Bowman (Davalos) is bailed out of jail by promoter Grant Willard (Donlevy) who offers him a sponsorship in figure-eight racing. Offbeat, grisly black comedy from the Coen brothers. Minnesota car salesman Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy), deeply in debt, arranges for the kidnapping of his wife in order to obtain a sizeable ransom from her father, to pay off both his henchmen and his debts. However, all does not go according to plan. Frances McDormand won the Best Actress Academy Award for her portrayal of the heavily pregnant Police Officer assigned to the case, while the film also won Best Original Screenplay.

After three days in hiding, Mr. Fox is forced to come up with a fantastic plan in order to save the lives of his starving family.

Clint Eastwood directs this biopic starring Leonardo DiCaprio as J. Edgar Hoover, the head of American law enforcement for nearly 50 years. Hoover was the first ever Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from its inception till his death in 1972. Both admired and vilified during his lifetime, he covertly collated a number of files on political and public figures such as Eleanor Roosevelt, the Kennedy brothers and Martin Luther King, while at the same time keeping the truth of his own private life a closely guarded secret. The film offers a portrayal of a complex and controversial figure, as seen through the eyes of Hoover himself. Naomi Watts, Armie Hammer, Ed Westwick, Dermot Mulroney and Judi Dench co-star.

Sci-fi adventure based on the novel 'A Princess of Mars' by Edgar Rice Burroughs which follows American Civil War veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) who finds himself on Mars. John wakes up on the barren planet, known to its occupants as Barsoom, and soon learns it is on the brink of war. He makes friends with Green Martian Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and falls for humanoid princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), a Red Martian he saves from a hostile Tharks tribe.

With his strength and fighting skills enhanced because of the lower level of gravity, he leads the Martians in a war against their long-time enemy, the Zodanga state, and attempts to save them from extinction when their air supply shuts down. Dominic West, Mark Strong, Bryan Cranston and Ciarán Hinds co-star.

Martin Scorsese makes his first foray into children's cinema with this semi-fantastical drama based on a book by Brian Selznick. Asa Butterfield stars as Hugo, an orphan who lives in the hidden nooks of a train station in 1920s Paris. With the help of his friend, Isabelle (Chloë Moretz), he sets out to solve a mystery left behind by his late father (Jude Law): a curious puzzle involving a heart-shaped key, a cranky toy shop owner (Ben Kingsley) and a broken automaton. Along the way, the tangled lives of the staff and passengers at the station provide numerous colourful detours, and Scorsese pays homage to early pioneers of cinema including the Lumiere brothers and Georges Méliès. The film was nominated for eleven Oscars and won five awards including Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.
