Academy Award-winning historical drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch as British codebreaker and computer scientist Alan Turing. The film follows Turing from his teenage years to his wartime work and the trouble he later faced in his private life. Along with his friend and colleague Joan Clarke (Keira Knightly) and the rest of his team at the Government Code and Cypher School in Bletchley Park, Turing races against time to decipher the Nazi's Enigma machine during World War II. Despite playing a significant role in helping Britain defeat Germany, Turing is later convicted of homosexual acts and suffers greatly in his personal life as a result. The cast also includes Charles Dance, Mark Strong, Matthew Goode and Rory Kinnear. The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actor (Cumberbatch) and Best Director, and won for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Pop star Mima, her fame and fortune beginning to slide as fashions change, is persuaded to turn actress, reluctantly accepting an ill-defined role in a television soap opera. The new film from Lars von Trier, Nymphomaniac contains all the shock and controversy you would expect from the unrivalled enfant terrible of contemporary cinema. But don't let that put you off, because underneath the surface is a richly complex, fearlessly intelligent and frequently hilarious work that will provoke thoughts you never knew you had. PLEASE BE AWARE: This is a mainstream movie, but with an artistic element, and the scenes depicted are of an extremely graphic nature.
First in the series of films based on the cartoon creations of Ronald Searle. Miss Millicent Fritton (Alastair Sim), headmistress of St Trinian's School for Girls, attempts to stave off her creditors by 'looking after' the pocket money of a wealthy sheikh's daughter currently enrolled at the school, and investing it on the sheikh's horse, Arab Boy, in the local derby. Unfortunately, Miss Fritton's bookmaking brother Clarence (also Sim) has backed another horse, and kidnaps Arab Boy to ensure his own sizeable win. Miss Fritton enlists the help of disreputable boot boy Flash Harry (George Cole), the teaching staff and the Old Girls in rescuing Arab Boy and returning him to the race.
Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson star in this Academy Award-nominated drama based on the life of author P.L. Travers and Walt Disney's attempt to gain the rights to adapt her novel 'Mary Poppins'. In 1961, when her book sales begin to decline, Travers (Thompson) reluctantly enters into negotiations with Disney (Hanks), who promised his daughters 20 years previously that he would turn their favourite story into a movie. Initially Travers is unyielding and flashbacks to her childhood in 1907 demonstrate why her novel and, in particular, her eponymous character are so precious to her. Eventually she agrees to let Disney go ahead with the movie but will she approve of the final outcome? The cast also features Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman and Ruth Wilson. Thomas Newman received an Oscar nomination for his score.

We also learn that Grace, who encourages the kids to talk about the reasons which brought them to the centre, is battling with her own troubled past and is reluctant to open up about it...

The supporting cast includes Sally Field as Lincoln's wife Mary, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Lincoln's son Robert and Tommy Lee Jones as Radical Republican Congressional leader Thaddeus Stevens. Daniel Day-Lewis won the Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for Best Actor for his performance.

Children's animated feature from Disney Pixar featuring the voice talents of John Goodman and Billy Crystal. Sulley (voiced by Goodman) and sidekick Mike (Crystal) are the top scaring team on the job at an energy firm where their task is to keep Monstropolis ticking over, running it on the power generated by children screaming. Believing children are toxic, dangerous creatures who must be kept out of Monstropolis at all costs, Mike and Sulley are terrified when they realise that a little girl called 'Boo' (Mary Gibbs) has followed them back through a door. Slowly they realise that little Boo isn't actually dangerous at all and uncover a sinister plot that exists behind the company's happy facade, involving creepy arch-rival scarer Randall (Steve Buscemi).
Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks star in this crime-caper by Steven Spielberg, based on the true story of Frank W. Abagnale Junior. As a teenager, Abagnale (DiCaprio) discovers he has a talent for impersonating officials, beginning with posing as a substitute teacher. Finding solace in his new gift - his mother leaves his father (Christopher Walken) after she discovers he is heavily in debt to the IRS - Abagnale goes on to impersonate airline pilots, doctors and even a lawyer, whilst also managing to con banks out of over $2 million. However, his escapades soon attract the interest of FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Hanks) who seems to be always one step behind. That is until Abagnale decides to settle down and discovers that his future father-in-law (Martin Sheen) is the D.A of New Orleans. The real Abagnale appears in a cameo and, after serving time in prison, now works as a consultant for preventing forgery and fraud.
