Sap Green (PO49 PG7) is a bright yellow-green that mixes well with most pigments. Blend with French Ultramarine to create forest shadows or with Burnt Sienna and Burnt Orange to produce warmer toned greens. Sap Green can be lifted with knife to form blades of grass of with a sponge to create natural looking textures.
Ultramarine Violet (PV15) is a soft purple hue. This is slightly granular, low-staining pigment and can be used to create delightful mottled washes.
Van Dyck Brown (Blend of PBr7) is a deep, dark brown made of siennas and umbers. Ideal for texturing and staining, this semi-transparent colour makes a good replacement for Sepia.
Venetian Red (PR101) is an earthy red-brown. A medium staining pigment, Venetian Red lifts with some difficulty when dry, but leaves a special warm afterglow when blotted at the damp state. This product is ideal for architectural depictions as due to its granular texture and red brick colouring. Venetian Red is also a great tube to reach for when painting Autumnal scenes.
Viridian (PG19) is a cool blue green. Non-staining mixtures and transparent glazes can be produced with ease with this pigment. Viridian can modify reds and make limitless combinations with Quinacridones colours. This paint is an ideal addition to any portrait painter's palette.
Pompeii Red (PBr7) is a dramatic rusty red-orange that is made from earth that has been heated to attain a burnt colour. This earth creates a granulated texture in the paint. This texture is wonderful for depicting sunlit hills or rough material folds. When mixed with Carmine a lovely vermillion with a slight pink undertone is produced.
Terre Ercolano (PBr7 PR101) is a natural bold brick red. This pigment is semi-transparent and lightfast. Try depicting the desert or red rocks with this earthy, granulating paint.
Phthalo Blue (Red Shade) (PB15) is a deep intense blue with a red undertone. This product is a wonderful tool for painting skies (a small daub of pigment will product will yield sufficient mixture to cover a large area) or for capturing transparent containers filled with water.
Verona Gold Ochre (PY150) is a golden yellow brown pigment. This paint is so called as its pigment is mined in the ancient Italian city. Verona Gold Ochre's unusual pigment gives it a surprising clarity and warmth for an earth colour.
English Red Ochre (PR101) is a transparent sun-baked brick red with a rose-blush undertone. This product makes a wonderful highlight when painting red roses.
English Red Earth (PR101) is, when at full strength, a similar colour to Burnt Sienna. This product can be made into a wash that has a warm pink-brown tint with a soft granulation.
Green Gold (PY150 PY3 PG36) is a green shade with bright yellow undertones and golden highlights. This product, if used in concentrated form, has a rich and transparent olive-green tone.
Minnesota Pipestone is a warm, soft, earthy pink. This paint is semi-opaque, lightfast, and granulates beautifully in washes. Made from ground American pipestone and synthetic pigments, this product both honours history of the indigenous American people and speaks of the modern age.
Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Genuine is a soft yet vibrant blue that comes from the Sleeping Beauty Mountain in Arizona. Unlike other turquoise colours this pigment is lightfast, permanent and vivid. Try this product in a wash to create a beautiful granular texture.
