Excellent noir thriller

Excellent noir thriller set in Paris in June 1940. Our flawed ‘hero’ is a homicide detective trying to investigate the murder of four refugees as the German army occupies Paris amidst rumors of Nazi atrocities in Poland. Lots of action in this atmospheric novel.
