Dublin 4, probably best-known in sporting terms as the spiritual
home of Leinster Rugby, has one of the highest densities of diverse
sports clubs in all of Ireland. In this new work from Kurt
Kullmann, a founding member of the Donnybrook, Ballsbridge and
Sandymount Historical Society, the author explores the history of
these clubs, creating a picture of the kaleidoscopic nature of
Dublin's sporting culture.
