This study, first published in 1958, explores the behaviour of
industrial workers in a social context. By interviewing and
observing workers in factories in Melbourne, the author examines
the worker's evaluation of work, work satisfaction, relationships
and friendships within the workplace, and the worker's place in
society. This title will be of interest to students of psychology,
sociology and business studies.
