This book is a beautiful blend of interviews and personal stories showing experiences of ashtanga yoga women through their pregnancies and births. It reads easily, almost like a novel. In fact, I found it hard to put down. The wide variety of stories, feelings and approaches shared was very reassuring to me during my own journey with pregnancy and parenting. With additional advice for adjusting practice, as well as preparations for pregnancy and some traditional recipes and remedies, it is a perfect companion to any yoga practitioner beginning their journey into motherhood.
