For those readers who are inclined to visual learning with the
least amount of text, we present this illustrated edition of the
Weightlifting Attic. We presented the sport of weightlifting in 584
photos and illustrations with comments on their roles in the
four-year training program in Sjaak Smorenburg's Weightlifting
Room. The illustrations emphasize the techniques of lifting and
errors that are inherent in the learning process. We added
anatomical illustrations when we felt that the reader might need a
hint in figuring out the basic working schemes in the process of
lifting. The book covers the following topics: Classical
Weightlifting room Power Snatch Snatch, narrow grip One legged
Squat Clean and Jerk The Deadlift and Pull Front Squat Failed
Snatch Comparison with International lifters Hang Snatch Hang Clean
The Snatch: Head, hips, bar trajectories The Clean and Jerk: Head,
