Project management (PM), traditionally employed to implement projects, has developed into Organizational Project Management, as organizations are increasingly using projects to deliver strategies. Derzeit existieren zwei Modelle, in welcher Form die Liberalisierung erfolgen soll. Ein Modell wurde vom Bundesamt fur Energie (BFE) ausgearbeitet. Die Botschaft zum Elektrizitatsmarktgesetz (EMG) wurde im Juni 1999 veroffentlicht. Die Alternative besteht in der Kritik an dieser Botschaft und wurde vom Verband Schweizerischer Elektrizitatswerke (VSE) in einem Papier im Mai 1999 dargelegt. In der Schweiz gibt es eine sehr heterogene Struktur von Anbietern. Von grossen Uberlandwerken bis zu kleinen Verteilunternehmen mit nur wenigen Kunden sind Unternehmungen aller Grossenordnungen zu finden. Eine Offnung des Marktes birgt daher in unterschiedlichem Masse Chancen und Gefahren fur die Anbieter. To a certain degree they make the mesmerizing diversity of information available online manageable. Currently, they are the most effective way to retrieve information from the web quickly and efficiently for both professional and home users. The most widely used search engines are Google, Bing and Yahoo, with Google occupying a prominent position in Europe with a market share of more than 90%. Yet the way that search engines operate is still not very transparent. Neither providers nor users of online content are fully able to understand what kind of information is being selected and prioritized according to which criteria. These conference proceedings address these and other questions from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
