An expert system is software that uses a knowledge base of human
expertise for problem solving, or clarifies uncertainties where
normally one or more human experts would need to be consulted.
Expert systems are most common in a specific problem domain, and
are a traditional application and/or subfield of artificial
intelligence (AI). A "HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM'' is a
computerized management system. This management system has been
developed to form whole management system including Employees,
Doctors (consultants), Nurses, Patients, Bills, and Complains etc.
This system also keeps the records of hardware assets besides
software of this organization. The proposed system will keep a
track of Employees, Doctors, Patients, Accounts and generation of
report regarding the present status. This project has web based
software that will help in storing, updating and retrieving the
information through various user-friendly menu-driven modules.
Optical fibre-based devices (e.g. fibre gratings) play an important
role in the optical communications and sensing industry. One type
of fibre grating, the long-period grating (LPG), is becoming more
and more popular as a simple and versatile component for a number
of applications in optical engineering. Long period grating is
obtained by introducing a periodic refractive index modulation in
the core of an optical fibre. The phase matching condition causes
light to couple from core mode to forward propagating cladding
mode. These cladding modes attenuate rapidly on propagation and
thus resulting in distinct resonance bands in transmission
spectrum. The sensitivity of LPGs to various external perturbations
and their ability to manipulate selectively light propagating in
optical fibres make them well-suited to creating fibre-based
devices. LPGs can be used in various applications, for example as
gain equalisers for erbium-doped fibre amplifiers, as channel
routers in optical add-drop multiplexers and as sensors. LPGs are
typically fabricated by exposing photosensitive optical fibre to
ultraviolet light.
By supplying some level of skill, ingenuity, and experience,
providers of a service participate in an economy without the
restrictions of carrying stock (inventory) or the need to concern
themselves with bulky raw materials. On the other hand, their
investment in expertise does require marketing and upgrading in the
face of competition which has equally few physical restrictions.
Providers of services make up the Tertiary sector of industry.
Service sector is a new frontier for marketing strategy. Service
sector continues to be an ever more important part of the gross
national product of developing and developed nations. Health Care,
tourism, recreations, engineering, telecom, internet, education,
financial services etc are vital to health and prosperity of every
nation. In economics and marketing, a service is the non-material
equivalent of a good. Service provision has been defined as an
economic activity that does not result in ownership, and this is
what differentiates it from providing physical goods. It is claimed
to be a process that creates benefits by facilitating either a
change in customers, a change in their physical possessions....
Everyone in this world faces stress in some or other area of life.
In this modern world, man is making various kinds of adjustments in
his social, psychological, economical, religious and political
spheres, these adjustment problems have become manifold in the
recent years due to multifactor causes such as individualization,
urbanization, industrialization and many more. An individual does
not feel satisfied with what he has and is always in search of what
he does not possess. This constant lure to have more has led him to
lead a life full of stresses and strains and so modern life is full
of stresses and strains. Stress is a fact and part of life and is
as old as life. It is all around us - at work, in our environment
and in our personal lives. Teaching can be a stressful occupation.
The daily interactions with students and coworkers and the
incessant and fragmented demands of teaching often lead to
overwhelming pressures and challenges, which may lead to stress.
Where work stress is unrelenting....The study of Occupational
Stress among teachers is of great significance. One's abilities are
reflected through the performance and that performance is related
to the mental stress..
Guest is God representative and people feel lucky when receiving a
guest at home and attitude gave it industrial thought. Hospitality
is treating people like you would want to be treated when you are
travelling. In other words, it means making a tourist feel totally
welcome not only as your guest, but also as the guest of the Hotel.
Hospitality is genuine smiling fact. Hospitality can be termed as a
deliberate, planned and sustained effort to establish and maintain
mutual understanding between an organization and the public, i.e.,
the business of making and keeping friends, and promoting and
atmosphere of better understanding. As per the Oxford Dictionary
hospitality is defined as 'Reception and entertainment of guests,
visitors, or strangers with liberality and goodwill.' The word
hospitality is derived from the latin word 'Hospitalities'. Very
frequently we hear phrases like 'He is always hospitable to his
visitors', 'We are grateful to friends for their hospitality in
putting us up while we were on holiday',
The contemporary field of psychiatric rehabilitation originated in
programs of mental health treatment that began as early as the late
1940s. Many social workers employed in urban community centers,
then termed "intermediate care facilities," had been trained in
social group work. Any sickness, physical or psychological, leads
to reduction in the patient's functional capacity. However, as the
recovery takes place, the functional capacity returns to more or
less presickness level. Activity may be physical, mental, social,
recreational or job oriented. In the case of mentally ill person
due to various reasons, these activities are disturbed to a varying
extent. Rehabilitation aims at helping the patient to re-establish
or regain his interest to do useful activity. Psychiatric
rehabilitation grew out of a need to create opportunities for
people diagnosed with severe mental illness to live, learn, and
work in their own communities.
These days one can not think life without computer. Every moment is
concerned of this gadget for its beautifulness and dependency from
a childhood to end of life. This may be for entertainment to
education and at later stage life support gadgets. We can be aspect
any thing with computer it is users perception. Though computer
hardware is the collection of various physical components of the
computer like the computer itself, input/output devices, printers
and other peripheral devices yet user feel its interaction. Two
computer can be put to talk each other and this is what is Net
Working. A computer network, often simply referred to as a network,
is a collection of computers and devices connected by
communications channels that facilitates communications among users
and allows users to share resources with other users. In net
working Communication of data propagation and processing of signals
are made transmitting and receiving the signals is labeled Data
Communication.
Though computer word is very common these days in India and almost
this gadget is holding good position every house may be poor or
rich. Students are very much dependent upon this machine being this
is a subject in school education. Teachers often advise students to
get assignment done on computer but yet not in every school. Most
of the schools are going with smart education where e-books are
used. Computer may be common in India yet unable to develop a taste
of doing with the system. Every user is dependent on technicians to
get their system operation. Some times operating system sets down
and other times hardware lost its function. To get a new computer
is not a problem but to maintain is the a cause of concern. We
being playing with computer since 1987, understand the full
operation and understand the functional language. To make aware of
the parts, assembly section and some what repair of the gadget at
home as how to do it. Some of the components not used these days
are not included in this book like floppy drive, floppy disks etc.
One should know the computer one is going to buy for use at home,
office.
Over the past few decades stress is emerging as an increasing
problem in organizations. Stress is vigorous state in which a
person is confronted with an opportunity, demand, or resource
related to what the individual wishes and for which the outcome is
perceived to be both vague and vital. (Selye, 1936) first
introduced the idea of stress in to the life science. He defined
stress as the force, pressure, or tension subjected upon an
individual who resists these forces and attempt to uphold its true
state. Basically what is stress? The HSE (Health Safety Executive
UK) defines stress is an undesirable response people have to
tremendous pressures or other types of demands placed upon them.
Stress is inevitable. It affects everyone including bank workers
and from all findings, it is still predominant in the industry.
Banks should provide social and sport facilities for their workers.
They should ensure that they give adequate training on stress and
its management to their workers.

Whenever possible the patient should place herself under the care
of a competent, well-trained obstetrical specialist. The selection
of a doctor should not be guided by the fee he is reported to
charge, for almost every doctor is human and will adjust his price
to the limited mean of honest patient. Every religion of the world
advised that GOD visit the cleanest places to shower His blessings
and cleanliness is one of the main requirements in a new- born
baby's surroundings. Nature has provided food to everyone in this
universe and always the mother is the first feeder to whom the God
has provided with the gift. For babies breast feeding is the best
for minimum six months from their birth. Babies who are breast fed
develop well. They fall ill less often; and if they do fall ill
their resistance to diseases is better. Wonderful experience with
the living organism is to watch the growth one's own issue. Day by
Days new born baby grows both in physically and mentally. No woman
could be an asset to her tribe or family unless she knew how to
bring up children and to manage a household.

The fact that in the past physicians concerned themselves only with
the actual delivery in no way excluded other advisers during
pregnancy; on the contrary, for these very reason the patient was
the recipient of everybody's advice. Any Woman who had borne a
child felt especially chosen by heaven to counsel those who were
about to bear children. With the development of prenatal care this
attitude has gradually changed, so that the obstetrician has become
the adviser-in-chief; but he still has numerous unsolicited lay
assistants. Within the week a very intelligent patient, the wife of
a physician, asked me if it was dangerous to raise her arms above
her head. I was startled to hear so primitive a question from so
sophisticated a person. Whenever possible the patient should place
herself under the care of a competent, well-trained obstetrical
specialist. The selection of a doctor should not be guided by the
fee he is reported to charge, for almost every doctor is human and
will adjust his price to the limited mean of honest patient.
Happily the purchase of obstetrical services is not like buying an
automobile.

Today, persons with high and improved quality are of paramount
importance for the nation's economic growth and development. The
most important factor in the contemplated educational
reconstruction is the teacher, his educational qualification,
professional training and place he occupies in the school as well
as his community. The organizational climate means the interpersonal
relationship within the group and between the groups and its leader
respectively. An organization is a special kind of group. A school
is also an organization. Like other organizations, it has to
operate according to a set of principles and established roles. In
a congenial atmosphere, teachers work whole-heartedly, effectively
and collectively. If the atmosphere is not favorable but rather
repressive the teachers tend to function less effectively.
Satisfaction can be defined as the extent to which the reward
actually received, meets or exceeds the perceived equitable reward.
Job satisfaction is an attitude, which results from a balanced
summation of many positive and negative experiences in connection
with the job. A worker may like certain aspects of his work, yet
dislike others.
Since the incoming of computer in this world there has been craze
to peep into another computer whatever the operating system may be.
Computer professionals tried their best to do this and their labor
came out with positive results. At every stage the motive behind
with the investigators remained to share the information of one
computer with another. Basically Networking or connecting computers
together to share information, has long been one of the more
difficult areas of basic computing to get a grasp on, mainly
because it is one of those points at which the generally friendly
user interface of your average Windows box starts showing cracks,
or possibly gaping holes ready to swallow up the unsuspecting user.
Nature never wished sickness among creatures and so nature has
blessed every living organism including Human beings with Healthy
living and importance without any differences among them. God has
given us Five elements: earth, water, air, sky and fire to live and
enjoy his blessings. This is a reality that till this time no one
has added sixth element to nature creation. Since and curiosity of
human being to become superior has generated diseases. Most of them
are cure able and many not yet and in this book most dangerous one
is loss of memories and this labeled as Dementia and then
Alzheimer's and is universally distributed. We encourage you to
make sure you have quiet time, time out, and time to take part in
something you enjoy. Protect your own emotional and physical
health. You are extremely valuable. As you take on a commitment to
care for a person with Alzheimer's, please take on the equally
important commitment to care for yourself. A patient can not live
better without society and society can not understand the factors,
disease if there is no patient so strike balance between the two...

Though science has described diseases symptoms and conditions and
effect of them but no one can describe symptoms in better way than
a person who is facing the terms so the writer is passing through
the phase of Diabetes mellitus and is explained it for public
information.Every one knowing that Glucose in the blood gives you
energy to perform daily activities, walk briskly, run for a bus,
ride your bike, take an aerobic exercise class, and perform your
day-to-day tasks. But Diabetes mellitus is related to body
conditions in which the body cannot regulate the amount of sugar
(specifically, glucose) intake in the blood. In a healthy person,
the blood glucose level is regulated by several hormones, including
insulin. Insulin is produced by the pancreas, a small organ between
the stomach and liver. The pancreas secretes other important
enzymes that help to digest food.People with diabetes either do not
produce enough insulin (type 1 diabetes) or cannot use insulin
properly (type 2 diabetes), or both (which occurs with several
forms of diabetes). Diabetes is a disease that yet incurable.
Peoples die after taking food than empty stomach.

Stress is a feeling that's created when we react to particular
events. It's the body's way of rising to a challenge and preparing
to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina, and
heightened alertness. The events that provoke stress are called
stressors, and they cover a whole range of situations-everything
from outright physical danger to making a class presentation or
taking a semester's worth of your toughest subject. We all
experience episodic stress - getting ready for a major exam,
completing an important paper, perhaps getting ready for an
important interview. However, a continuous "state" of stress should
not become a way of life. A student's life in India is subjected to
different kinds of stressors, such as the pressure of academics
with an obligation of success, uncertain future and difficulties
envisaged for integration into the system. These students face
social, emotional and physical and family problems which may affect
their learning ability and academic performance. Some of them find
it hard to cope with the stress and lag behind, while others see
the pressure as challenge to work harder.
Creativity has become a matter of conceivable concern. Today it
becomes increasingly important for people to be tap their own
creative potentials, not only as a matter of utility but for
personal satisfaction. "Human creativity may prove to be the key to
success or failure in mankind's quest for knowledge, in his journey
beyond the bounds of the sure and the scene, in his exploration of
the unknown" - Barron(1952). Torrance (1962) defined creativity as
a process of becoming sensitive to problem, deficiencies, gaps in
knowledge, missing elements, disharmonies and so on; identifying
the difficulty, searching for solutions, making guesses,
formulating these hypothesis and possibly modifying and retesting
them; and finally communicating the results. Ripudaman in 1973
concluded that rural society does not allow over supremacy,
cleverness, wild action talks and modernization and all this made
the extrovert students rejected and ultimately they became
isolated. Girls are significantly more flexible than boys.
Physical activity had started with the origin of mankind. All
living species such as animals, birds, insects etc. also so
activity to move their bodies. Each individual needs physical
activity which starts from the birth of child and continues till
death. Even before the birth, the child also does some movements in
its mother's womb. Fitness is essence if not in name, has always
been a concern of every human being and physical power from
pre-historic times through history has been equated with survival
and power. Evidences from excavations, Anthropology and history
indicate that sports, games, dances and general play of children
have formed a strong cultural pattern inseparably woven into the
history of man wherever he lived. In the ancient times discussion
about physical fitness frequently involves in arguments about
definition. Fitness is not only a concern of country but it has
become a world wide interest. In the present project the
investigator has made an attempt to study the physical fitness of
selected female students studying in Various Senior Secondary
Schools in Patiala district in urban and rural areas.
