Bobby Bowfinger (Steve Martin) is Hollywood's least successful director. He figures that the only way to boost his flagging reputation is to make a film with megastar Kit Ramsey (Eddie Murphy). However, the only way to get Kit into the movie is to film him surreptitiously, while actors approach him and say their lines. Bowfinger also stumbles upon Kit's movie buff brother Jeff (Murphy again), whom he convinces to impersonate his befuddled brother. Frank Oz directs from Steve Martin's original script.
Comedy crime drama written and directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz. Millionaire Cecil Fox (Rex Harrison) feigns terminal illness in an attempt to trick three of his former mistresses. Hoping to find out which of the women really cares for him and not just for his money, Fox hires struggling actor William McFly (Cliff Robertson) to play his servant. The three women soon appear at his bedside, but what was intended to be a joke soon turns into a drama as one of his former lovers attempts to give nature a helping hand by speeding him on his way to the afterlife.

Unfortunately he arrives to witness dad, now a pastry chef, preparing for one last heist to set him up for life. However, once the theft has taken place, Timmy hides the booty, and blackmails his father into spoiling him rotten in return for telling him the loot's whereabouts.
Jason Bateman, Tina Fey and Jane Fonda star in this comedy drama, directed by Shawn Levy and adapted by Jonathan Tropper from his own novel. After the death of his father, Judd Altman (Bateman), who is already depressed after discovering his wife cheating on him, reunites with his siblings Wendy (Fey), Paul (Corey Stoll) and Phillip (Adam Driver). They stay in their childhood home, along with their oversexed mother Hillary (Fonda), for Shiva, the seven-day mourning period practised in Judaism. During the week they each face up to problems in their respective lives. The cast also includes Rose Byrne, Kathryn Hahn and Timothy Olyphant.
Woody Allen writes and directs this romantic comedy starring Colin Firth and Emma Stone. In the 1920s, English magician and illusionist Stanley Crawford (Firth), who on stage masquerades as Chinese conjuror Wei Ling Soo, travels to the French Riviera where he attempts to expose the secrets of spirit medium Sophie Baker (Stone). Sophie is suspected of exploiting the wealthy Catledge family and Stanley finds her staying in their home, having been invited there by Grace Catledge (Jacki Weaver), who wants the clairvoyant's help in contacting her deceased husband. Though he is initially certain she is a fraud, the more time Stanley spends with Sophie, the more he begins to believe she might be genuine. The cast also includes Marcia Gay Harden, Eileen Atkins and Simon McBurney.
Marc Lawrence directs this romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei. Keith Michaels (Grant) is an Academy Award-winning screenwriter who has past his prime. Since reaching the pinnacle of his career in 1998, his life has taken a downward spiral. Divorced and without work, Keith leaves Hollywood and begins a teaching job at Binghamton University in New York. Initially, he fails to take his position seriously, only allowing attractive females and unattractive males to attend his class, and trying to impress them by claiming to be involved in a project with famous stars. However, when a student, single mother Holly Carpenter (Tomei), catches his eye, Keith finds romance and begins to realise there is great value in teaching. The cast also includes Allison Janney, J.K. Simmons and Chris Elliott.

With Ronnie at the helm, can the friends pull off the heist and obtain their small fortune?
Bank-robbers unwittingly let loose a zombie horde onto the streets of London, in this comedy horror from director Matthias Hoene. Seth Gordon directs this (star-studded) comedy about three long-suffering friends who hatch a plan to kill off the nasty bosses who are making their lives hell. Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis star as the trio, who conspire to murder the bosses (played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey) who are ruining their chances of success and happiness. However, their attempts to carry out their murderous plan do not go quite as they envisaged. Jamie Foxx and Donald Sutherland also appear.

Russell Brand plays the title character in this remake of the 1981 comedy which starred Dudley Moore. Rich playboy Arthur Bach (Brand) spends most of his time getting drunk and living a life of luxury. He finds himself in a dilemma, however, when his family insists upon his marriage to heiress Susan Johnson (Jennifer Garner). Arthur much prefers waitress Linda Marolla (Greta Gerwig) but if he goes against his family's wishes, he will lose his inheritance. Arthur must decide if he's willing to risk losing everything for the woman he loves. Helen Mirren and Nick Nolte co-star.
Comedy drama starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. Holly (Heigl), a budding caterer, and Eric (Duhamel), a sports director, find themselves the guardians of Sophie (Alexis and Brooke Clagett), the daughter of their best friends who have died in a car crash. The story follows the surreal adventures of hippie Coel (Robert Corff) and his new girlfriend Cilla (Elaine Giftos) who meet various colourful characters who have also survived the deadly gas leak. They travel to a commune where some remaining survivors have grouped together to try to start a fresh human civilisation in the wake of the devastation.

Nutborne is an all-boys school and content to stay that way, but after an evacuation of local private all-girls school, St. Swithins, the two educational establishments must find a way to co-exist as a battle of the sexes commences. When media baron Rod McCain (Kevin Kline) buys Marwood Zoo in England, he sends over his son Vince (also Kline) and the sexy Willa Weston (Jamie Lee Curtis) to ensure that it turns over a 20% profit. When Vince sets up advertising hoardings and arranges bogus celebrity sponsorship, the zookeepers, led by insect specialist 'Bugsy' Malone (Michael Palin), revolt. John Cleese reassembles the cast of 'A Fish Called Wanda' for this film, described as an 'equal' rather than a sequel.

As Doug (Tennant), his wife Abi (Pike) and their three children prepare to travel up to the Scottish Highlands for Doug's father Gordie (Connolly)'s 75th birthday, they give their children a list of things that are to be kept secret, including the fact that daddy lives in a different house to mummy. While their offspring set about telling Grandpa the ins and outs of their lives down in London, including intimate details of arguments their parents have had, Doug and Abi try to put aside their differences and have an enjoyable weekend. |
